This is just AJ trying to save face. His teammate Kobe Jones, who had offers from the same schools AJ was choosing between, got enough love from Dan to sign with State. So we're supposed to believe he just ignored AJ?

Interesting point. Kobe's been talking up State non-stop since he committed but AJ has practically been 50/50 Hotty Toddy/Mullen Spurned Me & State Fans are Mean.
Really thinking AJ is like an innocent puppy, he's been shown love from everyone his whole high school career and now that he has "critics" he's very uncomfortable.
