I am not a recruiting "follow every word" kind of guy but I haven't been confident with this guy for a while. But, lots of kids leave the town they grew up in to go to college. Many are like that. But like you say, man up and just move on. But, I am not sure Mullen was all in this recruiting cycle. I think we did OK in quality but the numbers don't stack up

It's starting to become clear that he went to Ole Miss to spite State more than him actually wanting to commit to Ole Miss. Grats, honestly; he rustled a lot of Dawg jimmies. But we gon be aaaaight, Dan scheming long term

It sounds like he signed with Ole Miss out of spite towards Dan Mullen

In other tweets, he stated he expected to see him everyday.

Fact is it's not realistic.

If he's still talking about it I would hope one of his new coaches would man up and step in and talk to him about it and tell him to knock it off. If they haven't, just goes to show you how much concern they have for the individual, and I will leave it at that.

I think Brown is going to be a stud. But it's going to be a prime example of poetic justice if he blanks the stat line during the Egg Bowl.

Jeffrey Simmons?

Yea, he's already having conference calls with Hugh Freeze and Chris Jones.

MSU is better off in the long run. Kids that live to stick it in the eye of their hometown can go get fricked imo. It's one thing for a Starkville kid to go to Aggie or Florida, hell even Bama or LSU. It's another level to be a Rebel Black Bear.

A.J. Brown just made the best decision of his life to play for Ole Miss. He will NOT regret it!
Heck yeah, they will give him hell in Starkville. THEIR hatred of Ole Miss knows no bounds and has no conscience.

That young man should sleep confident he isn't going to hell....he's leaving it!

It was always out of state with him. I think he got pitched a load of crap at the last minute and bought into it, but making himself look bad won't change any of that now.

He will be looking to transfer out of there in 2 years. The writing is already on the wall.

Pitched a load of crap? Have you looked at the offense he's a part of lately? Who's playing QB for MSU again?

Seems like a good kid with a good family, and a shame it turned into such a crap fest.

except that he is not responsible for the crap fest, the fan base of state college is. all he wanted to do was catch touchdown passes from an elite quarterback. is that so wrong?
