A&M was gonna get raped every game last year. JFF was gonna get knocked out of the game, have his career ended. No one predicted him even taking a run at Cam's record. No one projected A&M as a top 5 team. So I'm inclined to think you Rant prognosticators suck.

In the spring and fall scrimmages I attended last year, JFF looked like shite. Based on what I saw, I was 100% certain Showers would start as were most other people there and most of the media punditry.
As it turns out, the guy is just one of those gameday players who gets an x-factor to him when it's time to do the real damn thing. He also isn't allowed to run in scrimmages. We're talking about the league's leading rusher, a guy who made some of his best passes while scrambling, and he isn't allowed to run. That's like complaining about the performance of a top fuel dragster being run on regular unleaded.
But yeah, I'm sure we'll totally suck this year. What will we do on defense without 'ol no bench press Moore? It's only the second year in the system aka the year when defenses make the biggest leap forward under a good coach.

I honestly don't see how one could think LSU is afraid of aTm. We were the only team to handle Manziel last year. We have been playing Nick Saban's Alabama since year 1. Your team had one decent year and you finished 3rd in the division.

Jesus Christ! Stop arguing like a bunch of premenstrual women.
There are 4 legit contenders in the SEC this year; Bama, LSU, A&M and UGA. Sorry SC. Will be a fun year wih SC and Florida out to play spoiler. I am very glad Bama gets A&M early before hey get rolling. LSUvs Alabama is still a title match.

He's probably (rightly) banging as much tail and partying as much as possible because he's good enough to not have to work as hard as everyone else. His stats don't come from understanding the defense better than everyone else, he makes plays because he's the best athlete on the field in an offense designed to take advantage of his skill set.
Smart or not I can't say I wouldn't be doing the same thing as he is and I sure don't want to have to deal with him come September. Most of this talk is just fans trying to convince themselves that he wont light their defense up again this year.

Yep. Sadly, from all schools including A&M. Good luck to Mizzou next year - seriously hoping you turn it around and beat the Hell out of the SEC East.
