JFF is a unique talent but don't expect him to be better or even duplicate what he did last year. That doesn't mean he has regressed, because Nutt isn't on the Aggie Staff, but just about everything last year worked in his favor. That won't be the case this year.

Can he overcome the pressure of winning the heisman? Serious question not a flame attempt.

Serious answer: I don't think JFF's performance during the upcoming season can be predicted with any more accuracy than correctly prognosticating the play of every other player in college football.

why a smart-arse? it was a legit question given all the recent escapades of said JFF. celebrity status can be hard to handle for person that young.

Come on now, I like JFF as much as the next person, but to say he hasn't been living it up in the offseason is being blind. All the partying may come back to bite him, we'll see.

If everyone is expecting him to have the same type of year he had last year, they are sadly mistaken. I've seen it too many times with guys in college and the pros. There's a reason defenses are so good in the sec year in and year out. They will make adjustments to his game. Not hating because he's still a really good player, but he won't sniff the numbers he had last year

Ill believe JFF can't play when I see it in the fall.

He's probably (rightly) banging as much tail and partying as much as possible because he's good enough to not have to work as hard as everyone else. His stats don't come from understanding the defense better than everyone else, he makes plays because he's the best athlete on the field in an offense designed to take advantage of his skill set.

Smart or not I can't say I wouldn't be doing the same thing as he is and I sure don't want to have to deal with him come September. Most of this talk is just fans trying to convince themselves that he wont light their defense up again this year.

You expect the offense not to adjust and mature? Our strength is the RB corps.

I think he'll put up great numbers again. With that shite schedule, Kiehl Frazier would look good.
