Seton Hall is RPI #54 with a 121 SOS.

Miami is 68 RPI with a 145 SOS.

So Id like to see some basis behind your thoughts on why those are such good wins.

But keep throwing around your UTA win as though people are impressed by it

Seton win was good but didn't they barely beat an SC team without their best player. I don't really see what is so impressive about the Miami win atm.

UTA beat Saint Mary's two weeks ago and they have been doing very well.

You're throwing around Miami like it actually means something though, yet are critical of UTA when their resume is more impressive than Miami?

Miami's best win is a 7-4 Stanford team. Miami currently has the 145th toughest schedule in the nation.

You love to talk about SOS but then attempt to discredit RPI even though we are 2 months into the season.

one thing that should help Bama is that the 5 teams Bama plays twice are State, LSU, Auburn, Missouri, and Georgia.
probably the easiest road for anyone's schedule.

Do you anticipate UTA being a better win than Miami at season's end? Would be very tough for me to see.

Depending on whose projections you look at, it is certainly a possibility

KenPom has Miami being significantly better, RPI Forecast has them finishing pretty close.

I am just saying it seems odd to crow about the UTA win while discrediting Miami.

You're talking about resumes like they mean anything yet.

Miami played a pretty weak OOC schedule, but they're in the ACC. They're going to get every possible chance to improve their resume and even going something like 10-8 would probably get them in the dance.

See: your argument for why Texas and Oklahoma are good wins but actually valid

I don't think I've referenced "SOS" (the stat) once this season

Saying that we've played a ridiculous schedule (which anyone with eyes can see) does not equal talking about SOS

I find it odd to think either is that good at this point. Florida has "better" wins at this point but its not like either team has some really impressive wins.

That doesn't seem bad, I still don't know about A&M, they are a hard team to read.

I feel confident in saying the top four will be Kentucky, Florida, USCe and Arkansas. After Kentucky, will be interesting to see who battles it out for second.

A&M ranks pretty well in KenPom's algorithms-close losses to USC and Arizona, close victory to VTech, and decent point differentials in every other game. Good-great offensive rebounding as well.

Zero chance AU only gets 7. I'm of the opinion KenPom is shite. Just look, Oklahoma is 30 spots in front of AU with 3 more losses, one being to AU.

KenPom hates us.

Nit saying we should be top 20 but that ranking thinks we suck.

Auburn probably is top 5 in SEC. If Austin Wiley improves we could be top 3-4
