f you’re putting Andrew Luck career in the same conversation as Aaron Murray then you’re logically considering them on the same page, and thats what he did.

Logic isn't really your forte is it?

he's a good QB but what makes him 1st team over AJ or JM.

Stats and he's more likely to excel at the next level. No offense to Bama's game manger. He's great at it.

Noooo...he put McCarron and Manziell in the conversation with Luck. Reading is fundamental.

Being a part of a program which leads the nation in preseason national championships alone qualifies Murray for the 1st team spot.

Seriously? Would you mind telling me if Georgia or Alabama has been ranked #1 more in preseason?

Now you are being stupid.

Possibly. But I know 14 SEC coaches that think differently. You know more about football than them?

Murray will get eaten alive over his height. And you idiots keep calling AJ a game manager like its a n insult. Someone should teach Murray to manage the game better, he might win something of note before he leaves.

Murray because of his height, JFF because of his off the field issues but why the dismissal of McCarron? Has the height/frame the NFL wants, can make all the throws, is very smart with the football, and is a winner.

I see him having a similar career as Matt Flynn

It's worth noting that only McCarron has a better record against ranked teams than Driskel.

Driskel also has a 12-7 TD/INT ratio. Driskel is much more like McElroy you guys are wining games in spite of him.

not bama hating, but when was the last time one of yalls qb's "made it" in the NFL..im not talking about signed and making money as a clip board holder...im talking about a starting job in the NFL?...

yet...RB's are doing well..and receivers, and the defenseive guys and the linemen...when people say game manager, it isnt a knock..its just that Saban only wants that...he doesnt really rely on a star qb to complete "the process"..just a guy who is smart with the football...

and that he is...just not gonna be a game changer on Sundays imho...

Question? Not Georgia hating but when are you guys going to win anything of signifigance? Why isn't Murray smart with the football? We have had 3 QBs start in the Saban era, two were hangovers from the previous staff. McCarron is the first Saban QB.

And what does Matt Stafford (who I assume you are referring to because it wouldn't be Shockey or Greene) have to do with Aaron Murray? Murray's height and choking in big games will definitely be a mark against him.

You made the statement “by my logic AJ and JF is better than Andrew Luck” based off me saying AJ and JF because they have accomplished more is better than Aaron Murray...all I’m saying now is you can’t compare a Aaron Murray to a Andrew Luck...if Andrew Luck was the SEC 1st team QB then there would be NO complaints...but Aaron Murray is not even a better QB than JF or AJ, those 3 are so close imo, how would the guy who basically haven’t accomplished anything be a 1st team SEC QB, heck at least win a big first.

Aaron Murray stats vs ranked SEC teams

--------------------yards td int
Alabama 2012 (L)- 265 1 1
Florida 2012 (W)- 150 1 3
USC 2012 (L)- 109 0 1
LSU 2011 (L)- 163 1 2
Auburn 2011 (W)- 224 4 0
USC 2011 (L)- 248 4 1
Auburn 2010 (L)- 273 3 0
Arkansas 2010 (L)- 253 1 1
USC 2010 (L)- 192 0 0

I think it shows that before the 2012 season, excluding the SEC championship game, he could have been considered #1. But at the same time, he has gone 2-7 against ranked SEC opponents.
