Doubtful.
If they're smart, they'll go after a Kevin Sumlin type of coach--young, fiery, and not full of himself. If for no other reason, they need a guy like that for recruiting purposes.
Now that they're saddled w the LHN, the horns are going to have a tough time finding an older, established coach who would be willing to put up w that crap.

They're looking for the man called Dabo.

As long as there's no Big XII refs, Ole Miss should win

I think only the visiting team brings the refs. t.u. had them yesterday against BYU. They tried to give them help but it wasn't enough.

Petrino would wreck for a few years but his infamously crappy recruiting would open the door for the TCU/Baylor/Tech type upstarts to catch up in the long-term.

TCU and Baylor may already be up there.

He would be a great fit for that program, he could be an arrogant prick, and still politic... which is prerequisite for that post... but would he leave Clemson? They seem so slob on his knob.

Ya know what might be even an uglier thought than Petrino going to Austin?

Southern Cal
Hell, they hired Kiffin. Can you imagine? They'd have him cruisin' Hollywood Boulevard, sportin' a brand new Hog with two big-arse Trojans blaring off each side of the fuel tank, giving free joy rides on the back to any number of beautiful 6 foot babes in the area needing a cheap thrill.

I'm pretty sure he would. And the funny thing is they'd probably promote Chad Morris and be better off for it.

That Corn video with the sick kid always busts me up. While I'm no fan of Pelini, that was some good bull right there.

I wouldn't mind Dabo in Austin... I mean you're going to have to accept that he's going to be better than the last guy, a lot of people will... but Sumlin has recruiting in the state on lock down. I'm really not threatened by Dabo.

For the Texas job? Yeah, I think he'd leave fast.

He really is a good fit, He's got Clemson playing well and he'd hit the Texas recruiting trail like a Hall County tornado.

Hell, I even saw some poor soul begging for Uncle Gene Chiz to return....and not for DC but for Mack's gig. Nothing better boys than to see Texas in a full blown panic attack. Our A&M cousins know this best of all. Ole Miss, you have a fine opportunity laying at your feet. Pls don't frick it up.
