Texas losing to BYU was probably the worst possible thing for Ole Miss. Texas coaches and players are fighting for their job and position now.

Good, nothing like seeing arrogant, entitled pricks get embarrassed. They start panicking and get really upset. Whatever comes out of their mouths does not make sense.

Most are finally reaching the "acceptance" stage. The stage in which they realize that their program is not God's gift to football, and that their success in the 2000's relied on two players. They keep recruiting "elite" players that are good on paper, but they get on campus and they are busts. Coaching is horrendous. They are now just realizing that their conference is a complete burning piece of shite, which makes it even worse that they lose games like last night. Finally, they are seeing reality and not living in their own utopian world.

They went 5-7 and all they did was sacrifice that fatass Greg Davis to their seething fans. Mack stays, but Manny Diaz is this year's sacrificial lamb.

They have faced adversity before in the last 3 seasons, and they have fallen on their faces. Nothing to worry about.

What's funny is that they framed Davis for Mack's crap work. Davis ran two very successful but different offenses from VY's freshman year to Colt's senior and he got the boot despite not really sucking that much. He was a big reason they played in MNC games but Mack cut him at the first sign of trouble.

That's a pretty good melt down by Horn fans. I wonder how they will react when Ole Miss makes them quit after 3 quarters next week?

well, it didn't help that Greg Davis is a first class prick that all their big money alums hated. That made him an acceptable sacrifice. But Davis was always the guy in the background. It's really hard to see how this can't fall all on Mack. He's put Diaz and the ginger out front recruiting and meeting with the big wigs. These are his guys and he's sold them as such.

I imagine he sacks Diaz because how can you not? I look for Greg Robinson to be named LB/DC within 2 days. But I don't think it will be enough.

I don't understand the University of Texas. With their resources, they have no excuse not to be top 5 almost every single year.

Extreme hubris can have that effect.
