There is no doubt Alabama broke NCAA rules. Exactly what happened we may never know. But Roy Adams could come clean and clear up a lot here, and deserves no forgiveness until he confesses. I am going to hold him to Catholic Church standards.

Tennessee being poor and irrelevant is good enough for me. They're reaping the whirlwind.

There may have been a coach that knew. I won't name him but I believe it to be the case.

I am not going to get into detail on tRant, but I know people personally who were involved in the litigation between Cottrell, Ivy Williams, and the NCAA. People make it out like it wa some sort of institutional pay for play scam orchestarted by the coaching staff and that is not the case.

The NCAA is not the law. I note you didn't address my answer to you when I showed how you broke NCAA rules and got away with it because of the criminal conspiracy Fulmer, Kramer and the NCAA were in on.

Yeah, I don't need to respond to crackpot conspiracy theories, sorry.

I tend to agree. Even if they didn't know, in hindsight it is pretty clear that DuBose ran a terrible ship.

Where has UT football been the last decade? ?Where is Bama football today? ?

This is indisputable....they were not in control of the recruiting process and letting idiots like Logan Young run wild.

It always cracks me up when I hear these idiot rival fans with their Bama cheats mantra. The first thing Saban did when he took the job is to lay down the law with the booster community letting them know that we didn't need this sort of help with recruiting.

I think the whole Albert Means scandal is a sore subject for Alabama fans because the schools that bid and failed to get him got away scot-free. Just asking a player how much cash he wants to come play for a school is a major NCAA infraction and Alabama wasn't the only school bidding for his services. Tennessee was involved, as were a couple of other schools inside the SEC, as well as other schools from outside the conference. None of them got hit. Not one.

Were we guilty? Sure. Were we the only ones trying to acquire Means illegally? No. Were those other schools ever punished? Hell no!

Nobody cares about you bammers tears. 99 percent of the tradition you morons beat your chest about was built on cheating and dirty tricks. I have read quotes from bammers themselves claiming your cesspool of a football program was lying, cheating, and doing anything else it took to win as far back as the 1920's . I have also read quotes from the SEC commissioner at the time that the case that caused Auburn to go on probation back in 1957 was started by Bammer coaches and fans trying to dig up dirt on Auburn.

Too bad someone like Roy Adams didn't come along to stop your cheating a long time ago and it is also a shame the NCAA didn't follow through with their threat of giving you the death penalty

Just thinking along these lines - it makes me wonder why the hell MSU never got a reprimand or slap on the wrist for the Cam Newton deal. They had a former MSU player trying to broker a deal with Cecil and trying to get other former MSU players/booster to pony up the $$ to get him.... WTF?
