People need to give him credit for what he does well.
LSU doesn't recruit itself.
Look at out current situation ins the front 7. Brick and Chavis got lazy and here we are.
You don't just show up dressd in purple and gold and get a LOI automatically. We have had a lot of success since Saban, but he is the best recruiter in the country, and Les isn't far behind.

Spoiled and entitled is NOT a good thing. I'm not saying you should not want to be the best(you should try to be),but to say you are entitled is a bad way to see things.

I know you want to believe everything you typed. And that's fine. But it's typical opposing fan rhetoric. Sorry, but LSU fans know that the program is capable of competing against the best of the best, for championships. What you or any other opposing fan thinks is useless to me, as it's wishful thinking. Fact of the matter is the LSU job is highly touted, and once Les is gone, they'll offer someone worthy.
By all means, continue to view us in the same light as Texas. I know it's fun to find things to point out and make a mountain out of a mole hill. That's what opposing fans do. All good. I'm not nearly as worried as you are, but thanks for the concern. I think we'll be ok.

L5U thinks it's an elite program but it's second tier in reality.
To think they can do better than Leslie is fricking nuts.

Nope-99.99% of all LSU fans believe this. That's when the bandwagon pulled into the station.
The reason that LSU is 12th in overall wins has a lot to do with from 2000 forward.

Absolutely. I love Les. As I've said before, the bromance for me began post-Katrina. But all good things come to an end. They don't have to, if he figures something out offensively beginning Saturday. But if not, I think it's fair to say he had a good run and it's time for a change. Let him go out with class and dignity. He deserves that much.

The only reason you feel LSU deserves to be an elite program on the Bama level is because that is where you were this decade partially thanks to the work of the man yall want to run off.
No one deserves shite but when you have a state with elite talent almost every year and no one else to recruit against, good facilities, and good fan base your football program should be very successful.

Meh we are still on an uptrend overall in program direction.
Other than building new stuff, what has A&M done to be on an upward trend?

and?
Look man, LSU isn't historically bad. Bama? No, of course not. But to pretend LSU isn't capable of winning championships is very Ole Miss of you. Par for the course.

there really isn't a whole hell of a lot that separates the 2 other than that one fluky title

I didn't even try to address that because it was so asinine. They look like pure dog shite, and are 1 more 8 win season away from a complete overhaul. The delusion is real.

But before Saban no one viewed LSU as top 20 program, and rightfully so. To act like Saban didn't dramatically increase LSU's profile is beyond disingenuous.

If only TAMU could fall into even a decent coach
sorry we paid tGOAT close to half of what y'all are paying Sumlin.

that's false. Even after the dreadful 90s, they were still roughly a 15th ish program historically all time.

No one is pretending otherwise. I love it when you try to use this against us. Think about it. You're attempting to troll us by saying we had tGOAT coach win a championship.
I could not care less how LSU was viewed 20-25 years ago. Not to mention you're statistically wrong. But I don't care enough to pull the data. Because we are talking about multiple decades ago and it's irrelevant.

It is not trolling. LSU fans act like they are entitled to all this success as a football program, even though as a whole they are shittier fans than at a lot of programs in the SEC. An example of a fanbase that actually DESERVES success is poor South Carolina, filling a stadium and keeping it full even in winless seasons. The only reason you feel LSU deserves to be an elite program on the Bama level is because that is where you were this decade partially thanks to the work of the man yall want to run off. In fact the fans leaving at halftime during a night game expose a real danger facing LSU's program- if yall replace Les and that hire flops yall might not have enough fan support to dig out of the hole. If fans won't stay for a SEC night game for a one loss Les team there is no way they are staying or even coming to see a 6 win season if LSU hires their Charlie Strong. Bye bye fan support means bye bye recruits, bye bye wins, bye bye money. We did that dance ourselves last decade.
Pipe down there fella. Just because we beat up old ladies and kids does not mean we are a bad fan base.
Seriously - unfortunately this is a valid point about leaving the games early. Easy fix - sell beer in Tiger Stadium. Im serious - that's why man folks leave - if to go drink more, sad truth. But hear me out on the beer in Tiger stadium - most folks think that would be a disaster, I disagree - lot of $$ would be made, and think about it - 80 percent of the stadium sneaks in hard booze - get folks beer instead of bourbon and chances are it would not be as combative as it is now.

I've seen a funny trend on this board today.
"Bama is only anything because of bear and saban. Take those years away and they'd just be average"
"LSU was only good a while ago because they fell into saban"
Wtf difference does that make? They went out and hired coaches that led them to wins...should those not count for some reason?
