He's pretty tough ... y'all will be doing something if you do get at him.

I thought it was real interesting, very strategic, y'all walking Jones twice, intentionally. Everyone has been doing that to him but we've got the hitters around him to usually make'em pay ... but Destino struck out both times tonight I think. Really payed off for Ole Miss.

Here we go into the 9th ... this is going to go down to the wire.

solid victory, Gamecock fans. I knew game 1 would be very tough, due to the huge advantage in starting pitching USC enjoys. still, I feel confident about the next 2. lots of baseball left this weekend. see you guys tomorrow, lets do it again!

Good game Rebs. There were a lot of hits that game, for not a lot of runs. Pretty good defense by the teams.

Good game, Ole Miss! Still a lot of baseball to play in this series...

Was a good game. Not sure why we decided to come out with the jitters. Brady wasn't on from the start. Golson lets a foul ball go and then Lartigue doesn't play the run down well at all. Those two plays results in a run. The walks result in 2 runs. Can't play like that in SEC play, especially against SC and that pitching and expect to win. Hope we have a better showing these next two. Will be a great series win for whoever takes it.

I just hope our baseball team's season doesn't parallel our basketball team's

We'll see, but I think our baseball team has more talent than our basketball team. We have the best Pitcher in the SEC so far, Clarke Schmidt. We'll put ourselves in position to win a lot of series with him opening the weekend. Plus our strength of schedule will never be questioned in SEC baseball.

Sheffield and Hudson have been just as good as Schmidt

Hudson

how many pitches did Hudson throw last nite? he threw like 135 last Friday. if cohen isn't careful, the best pitcher in the conference will break down by may.
