Lets not forget that these are all on the new penalty structure and not the old one. Ask SMU how much harsher they are in comparison to how they used to be.

What will be the most telling is how many "Level I" infractions are there. UNC has 5 hanging over their head. If OleMiss has anything close to that then there will be fairly heavy sanctions and post season bans to go along with a LOI

Supposedly this is just the first of 2 NOAs though, the 2nd one pertaining to what they've uncovered since the Tunsil allegations pertaining to football. We shall see.

Where are you hearing about a 2nd NOA?

Why does it being past staff matter? You still get penalized for cheating, it just means your current coaching staff doesn't get fired.

I doesn't matter. Aa the NCAA told us when all the coaches were gone, AD was gone and we pointed this out, they said we don't penalize coaches, we penalize the institution.

Now, again, this is a much kinder, gentler NCAA. SMU would not receive the death penalty today. Ole Miss can hope they want to "Auburn proof". If they resort back to the NCAA prior to 2010, Ole Miss will be made an example of like SMU was.

he AD is not allowed to disclose anything related to this investigation.

This is the biggest lie of the bunch. He is very soon going to FORCED to disclose the NOA by a fredom of information request. OM is free to release it any time they like.

LOL what fricking world do you live in? Just because he went to school there doesn't make him a homer. Hell....he's made fun of ole miss more than most opposing fans.

The world where he gets pissy like a 11 year old defending them on twitter when they crumble and emotionally joyful when they win big games.

Once again....they can't comprehend an article for shite. The 2nd NOA was the tunsil allegations from this summer.

You have to ask yourself why there is another NOA coming Instead of adding it to the current NOA.

We must be talking about different people...or you're just making shite up.

Feel free to link ANY proof of him being a homer. Hell...his article about bagmen actually talked about ole miss cheating...just never named ole miss. Who in the hell could possibly be labeled a homer and announce to the world that they cheat(non-ironically)

Then how about a link? I'm honestly interested in this because it would be the first time I would have ever witnessed anything from him that's homerish.

Honestly, it isn't homerish in a excuse making way, more in a soft underbelly hatred of LSU and Alabama kind of way. And frankly, I just find him incredibly pretentious and over the top, so that probably clouds my judgement.

Bjork told The Clarion-Ledger on Jan. 18 that the school hadn’t received a preliminary notice of inquiry, a notice of inquiry or a notice of allegations over the prior weeks. The Clarion-Ledger made an open records request on Nov. 7 for a copy of “any Notice of Inquiry or Notice of Allegations the University of Mississippi has received since Dec. 30, 2013.” The university responded there were no such documents. An open records request for copies of communication between the school’s athletic department and compliance office sent to the NCAA and Southeastern Conference since June 30, 2014, in regards to rules violations related to the football team was rejected. The school cited privacy rights of its students and employees as the reason for declining to fulfill the request. The Clarion-Ledger is currently working with an attorney in an effort to obtain documents it believes it has a legal right to under freedom of information laws, including the Notice of Allegations and communication between the school and the NCAA and SEC involving possible or actual football rules violations.
