Who are they? I have 2011 LSU and 2015 Bama up top.

From what I remember that team had quite a bit of talent

Was that their best team ever under Spurrier?

1978 penn state
1978 alabama
1980 georgia
1992 alabama
1986 penn state

Those u mentioned were great but not all time historical lines. Those above rarely even gave up first downs. Combined u can probably count on one hand how many teams got over 200 yards of offense during any game those seasons.

Didn't the 86 Bama team have Woodrow Lowe, Cornelius Bennet, and Derrick Thomas on the line (though Thomas was a freshman at the time)?

I did not say they were the best. But I have them up because that defensive line was all over the place. I watched a DE of their's (Mingo I think) run down Lamichael James from behind after disengaging his man in front.

2010 Auburn didn't have a historically great defense by any means, but they did have some pretty damned good players.

Corey Lemonier — 3rd round pick
Nick Fairley — 1st round pick
Dee Ford — 1st round pick
Zach Clayton — 7th round pick

'03 LSU had:
Marcus Spears
Kyle Williams (4X pro bowl and 1X all pro)
Chad Lavalais (in '03; 61 tackles, 16 of which went for 85 yards in losses, 7 sacks, 23 quarterback hurries and 6 pass breakups)
Marquise Hill (deceased)

The Miami DL that had Cortez Kennedy and Russell Maryland is by far the best.

97 Nebraska is maybe a distant 2nd
