The only college football programs that operate with a surplus cash flow, dont take money from their Universities and dont take subsidies are...

25M - Texas
18M - Ohio State
13M - LSU
10M - Oklahoma
5M - Nebraska
3M - Purdue
1M - Penn State

There are so many ways to tabulate this. If you do an internet search on this you get different answers but the usual suspects always appear and yes, Ohio State is one of those.

I would be curious were you got that list from because our AD literally just sent out an email to donors saying we meet all those criteria.

It's not fair that Harvard includes me as one of the fifty two as I was only there for a semester.

Incorrect. This was pulled from an article that covered all the FBS college football programs. So yes, USCw was included and they didnt make the list. Remember, the list youre responding to excludes programs that take subsidies or University money no matter how small. In some cases it was as little as $10k.

Its a matter of dignity that a sports program would refuse to take handouts from an academic program to support itself.

Minnesota stands out on that list as the one with the least results to show for it.

Yeah, I'm sure there's no USC graduates suffering through a mountain of debt over there.

It has more to do with how the State is ran...and its amazing that its still broke with the income it generates...

The Golden Gate bridge is 1.7 miles. It cost $7 to cross!

Here in Louisiana we have the longest bridge over water in the world at 24+ miles. Its over brackish water, has its own police force and wrecker and recovery service. It cost $2 to cross.

California inspection stickers/smog checks are $30-$90.

Louisiana its $10-18.

Why the frick is California broke?

Per capita Alabama is absolutely crushing it.

Schools like Texas, Ohio State, and Michigan are always going to be near the top in absolute dollars because they have a ridiculous student body size and alumni base.

Didn't you have to dial back your recent $400mm stadium expansion plans to $150mm because you didn't have the money?
