lawd here we go. the refs were incompetent which is the norm in the SEC. it got les fired though so i'm confused about how this makes me feel. how they fricked this up is beyond my understanding

I have mixed feelings about this game. On one hand, of course I want the Tigers to win. On the other, this game is what gave Les the boot. Who knows how long he would have stuck around had we won this game?

You think they can review to see if a player is set

Wouldn't have been reviewed, the only reason they didn't throw the flag is because they knew it didn't matter because there was no possible way LSU could get the ball off, so no possible way that the play was going to stand. They did y'all a favor letting y'all have a little fun for a minute

You realize that even if LSU got the snap off (Which they clearly didn't) that #83 for LSU was never set and the TD would have been called back and after a 5 yard penalty for illegal motion the down would have been replayed?

Then why didn't any of the refs throw a flag? Oh wait, they knew LSU didn't get the snap off.. Then why didn't any of them blow the play dead?

Then why don't we end games when there's only one second left on the clock? What's the point in playing to 00:00?

LSU should just learn how to manage and read a clock.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't believe you can challenge the play clock expiring

You can't. However the replay guys in the booth can.............just like they can stop the refs on the field and look at targeting, even though it wasn't called on the field.

Just showed it on Espn, what an exciting ending to a hard fought game between 2 of the 3 tiger teams in the conference. A penalty made them replay 4th down but was Etling given the appropriate time to snap the ball once the refs spotted the ball and moved away?

How is the signal given; the ref just putting the ball on the ground and moving, a verbal signal, a hand signal? Looked like he snapped it pretty quickly, but the clock was on zero. I have often heard that the team is given to "-1" to snap the ball because the ref has to see the clock hit zero then look down and evaluate if the ball has been snapped. Anyways what say the rant?
Yeah it was a bullshite call and LSU should have won the game.

However we got to fire our shite coach as a result, and AU had to keep theirs.

This rationalization is even more funny to me. Does it make you feel better to pretend like the second best coach in the SEC, behind only an all time great, who's win multiple conference championships isn't a good coach?

You guys downgraded. Big time. To a guy that can barely speak with one of the worst HC resumes I've ever seen. And you pretend like you're somehow got one over on the team that beat you and has a very good HC?

It was the right call, the refs fricked up by not blowing it dead

It honestly is a shitty way for clock management that they don't go to a clock similar to basketball that goes into tenths of a second + tracks when ball is actually moving

Also let's just ignore that y'all got to draw up a play there which was some bullshite

LSU fans are still dumb as frick. There is no way you can possibly twist the ending of that game in LSU's favor. You lost and your team sucks arse. Accept it and move on. Everybody is tired of y'all making yourselves look pathetic

An LSU fan will be here soon to tell you that his time at OM doesn't count, because it was 10-12 years ago. Also, nobody can win at OM, even though O had the worst tenure in OM's history. The only thing that counts is he took over two preseason top 5 teams after their coaches were fired, and lead them each to 6-2 records. He turned those programs around!! He's hired the best OC and DC in the country, and won't interfere with them.

That fan will not be me.

This is my favorite current talking point from LSU fans.

1. Sure he's going to let the coordinators run the practices in their sides of the ball, and call the plays. But the important decisions in the high pressure in game situations will ALWAYS come down to the HC. The coordinators will defer to Orgeron and go with his opinion, because that's what HEAD coaches do.

2. If Aranda and Canada are as good as LSU fans are pumping them up to be, then then it won't be long before they've moved on. But Orgeron will still be there.
