Don't get too comfortable, you are right there with Ole Miss and State.

You live in Arkansas, we live in Mississippi, most people don't know the difference

meh thats arguable.

Rivals nor Scout will argue with me.

he lost every game against competent teams.

So you are saying he lost to the teams that were more talented than State, and beat the ones that we were more talented then. You really should get a nobel prize for that great analysis.

People that don't know the difference clearly haven't been to either place....arkansas is clearly better.

No i'm saying he lost to coaches who are proven and beat coaches notorious for being mediocre or coaches who weren't really all that interested in the season last year.

What do you Arkansas fans think about this? Is he worth nearly half a million dollars???

LeeTread is nothing more than a Nutt yes man. Remember, Lee was once fire by Nutt to “improve the passing game” only to be rehired by Nutt, behind Malzahn’s back, to “improve the passing game”. How laughable is that? But, for Nutt he is worth every penny so he can deflect blame when needed and Lee will move on in a year or two.

So how do you rate Croom's recruiting while he was at Mississippi State?

Yeah, you lost me on this one. So you again are saying Mullen beat the teams (or coaches) that he was supposed to, and lost to the ones he wasn't supposed to? Again, that is Nobel Prize winning stuff.

Is this the start of an Arky/Miss St rivalry?

I doubt it, just not sure why a Arky fan felt the need to jump in a conversation between a Miss State fan and a Florida fan by flamming? Nature of the beast I guess.

I'm not positive but i think somewhere on the charter of the flagship it says that we must hate on at least one team from mississippi and i'm kinda back to just plain feeling bad for ole miss.

I'm an Arkansas fan, and yes, it is the nature of the beast. Just post a funny picture and roll on to the next debate. No biggie.

Then at least bring something orginal. Shouldn't though you be picking on teams more in your league like Alabama, LSU, Oklahoma etc...? Why poor ole Mississippi State?

So true. Foley makes so many terrible decisions, what a bad AD.

Didnt Foley hire Zook and Pat McMahon? Let's dont act like he has a record of perfect hires

He is also the best AD in the country, but everyone makes mistakes.

I just think Mullen > Muschamp. If State had the choice between the two, I would take Mullen every time based off of what the two have accomplished.

You need to take a look at the success of UF's Athletic Department as a whole after Foley arrived before you start busting on him.

Donations to the Georgia athletics program have topped last year's level despite the Bulldogs' first losing football season in 14 years.

Contributions to the "Hartman Fund," the fundraising vehicle that is tied to football season tickets, stood at $22.94 million as of Monday night with "still a few dribbling in," according to Dave Muia, the athletics department official who oversees fundraising and alumni relations.

That exceeds last year's contributions of $22.74 million. The athletic association had budgeted for contributions of $22.7 million this year.

The stated deadline for contributions was Feb. 15, but the cutoff, as usual, was flexible.

Donations went up but ticket sales are lag?

they are cookin the books

i just know in 2008 you had to give something like $10,000 to get tickets and they sold those things faster than hell. now its around $1,500 i think and they can't give em away. so they can't keep fricking around

10k was the amount a first time donor would need to give in order to receive tickets in 2008. The bandwagoners jumped off and the regular fans still buy up the tickets. Now's the time to become a season ticket holder. I didn't pay anymore in 2008 than I did this year to get tickets.

Given UF's budget and location, you would have to be an idiot to be unable to make good hires and field really good programs.

A recruiter's paradise with a huge budget? Hard to frick that up
