Since when have rules ever stopped LSU and their fans from crying about the refs?

This was the game I wanted to beat the shite out of les miles for running the ball on every play for 2 yards and a cloud of dust. We had Jamarcus freaking Russell and 3 NFL WRs and we decided to throw the ball at the end of the 4th quarter. If miles let Jamarcus throw the ball a minute earlier we would have won the game. Oh and freak the refs.

I'll take this call, even though with how close it is to the receiver, it probably should not be called this way. Which leads us to the next play.

Another controversial fourth-quarter call went Auburn's way when LSU's interception on third-and-29 was negated because Daniel Francis was penalized for interference on receiver Courtney Taylor, giving Auburn an automatic first down.

Here is a case that a TIP > INTERCEPTION. I didn't even see this game live, and I'm full on in a logic-based nightmare. This is the exact same call, made the direct opposite way.

I don't care what the fricking refs are going to do, BE CONSISTENT FOR BOTH TEAMS. Both should have been ruled the same way, and that is all I'm gonna say. Can we not all agree on that? That's all I've ever wanted from the stupid zebras.

And Auburn still didn't win the West that year. Bama did.

Thread about 2006 AU - LSU game the week of the 2017 AU - LSU games.

Does poor job working in reference to 2013 Alabama - Auburn game.

This, my dear friends, is Auburn in a nutshell. Good season, important game coming up... stuck living in the past.

2006 was the most talented team in LSU history and we lost two games. Thanks, Obama.

I thought of this play last week when LSU was bitching about the PI being tipped.

The difference was LSU's player got mugged before the ball was tipped. The refs didn't rule that the tip happened before PI, but that the ball was uncatchable. I guess so, holding the receiver down with interference makes it hard to jump up and catch a ball.

Here's a compilation of the shitty calls from that game. Tell me that the refs weren't in Aubie's pocket. That's one of the many reason LSU hates Tom Ritter. Now guess who's in charge of the SEC video reviews from Birmingham and missed a review opportunity during the LSU v. Fla game last week? This frickin guy.

Enough can't be said about referee bias in the SEC. I'm sorry.

as i said in the other thread, to this day the worst officiated game i have ever seen at any level of any sport. criminal. refgate isn't on youtube anymore which might be a good thing because it was painful to watch.

Per the rules that wasnt pass interference.
the hold came before the ball was tipped. if it wasn't pi, it was defensive holding. the picture dispels any doubt. and the pi not called for an almost certain touchdown by lafell. and the first down catch by hester which was called correctly on the field and then overruled by the replay. there were others.

Yes we know, all the calls go the opposite way of LSU, it is written in the 1932 articles of creation in the SEC bible Birminghaminus 3:16
