You are the exception to the experiences I've heard.
I knew two couples that went. One of the wives had a tiny tank and had to pee seemingly every ten mintues, so that was awful.
The other couple had a much harder time getting to the stadium and parking than they expected, so they ended up skipping a meal. Figured they'd eat in the stadium close to kick. Which was a disaster as well. So he got to hear his wife go off on being hungry like it was a snickers commercial most of the game.

Rose Bowl location is incredible. Played the golf course behind it. And the lakes and jog paths (the women) .

I thought so back in 2009. Back then it had one small replay board. You basically leave the stadium to go to restrooms/concessions, and they are set up like a carnival/state fair. I was somewhere around row 20, but it felt like I was a mile away because of how shallow the stadium is.

Every single one? I'd personally disagree as would several Texas fans I know who've been there.
It's a pure college football stadium. A giant bowl without all the adzillatron, LED, flashing lights nonsense and people trying to sell you insurance or cars between plays. There aren't suites, lodge boxes, or club seats full of rich wankers sitting on their hands.
Oh, and the setting is unbeatable. Both Texans and Southerners love to crap on California, and for good reason, but when you go someplace like the Rose Bowl you quickly understand why so many people moved there before they collectively ruined it.

I went to the RB for the UCLA debacle in 2000. I guess it depends on what your criteria for a dump is. It's not the nicest stadium, but for nostalgia's sake it is pretty awesome. The layout and access to concessions and bathrooms left bit to be desired, but the positives far outweighed that aspect, IMO. One of the coolest sports stadiums I've ever been to, but compared to the modern amentities of the updated stadiums, I can see how some would label it a dump.

yeah, watching a game from the seats, the area, and tailgating really outweigh all the detractors of the RB
ETA. the piped in crowd noise needs to go though

he might as well throw in Temple and USF as well.
Ray J and Lincoln Financial, those are 2 of the better NFL stadiums

Saying your attendance is good by Conference USA standards is kinda like saying you got the best education in Arkansas.

I sat it row 66, and it was a bit far, I still had a good view. The mountains at sunset were really pretty for the RB. The experience itself for that game was worth it, IMO

The area is great; the view of the sunset is nice, but there is nothing else about the stadium that is great.

that article sucked arse and made me feel like the author was a smug d-bag.
this line was moderately amusing in a d-bag trollish kind of way though

Once you get outside New Orleans, Louisiana is basically Mississippi with cooler accents -- which pretty much means there’s nothing to do, except watch football in the fall.

It needs a complete overhaul. I couldn't believe all the hype it gets after going there.

Been to Davis Wade lately?
I went to Jordan Pubic Hair last year.
Maybe you mow the grass that's grown up around that heap of a car of yours and actually go see a stadium before you start drooling diarrhea heard from others over the years.

I just don't get why ULL is on there. They have a great game day atmosphere

Why yes. There's nothing at all to do in the state's largest city (BR) and second largest metro area. Nothing at all.
Whoever wrote this has a brain totally devoid of any intellectual capacity.
At least the cooler accents in our state aren't from illegal aliens.

Um, BR and Montgomery are both equal in my 'cities I will never vacation to' list.
