Rose Bowl bathrooms were horrible.
Rose Bowl entrance and exit patterns were horrible.
Rose Bowl once in seat and the setting was AWESOME!

Nothing to do inside the city of B-Ham, but on the outskirts, its probably some of the best and most beautiful areas you'll ever see.

13. UT - San Antonio
The Alamodome
Saying your attendance is good by Conference USA standards is kinda like saying you got the best education in Arkansas. Yes, the fledgling Roadrunners have a watchable 5-6 record over their two-plus seasons in existence, and yes, they boast crowd numbers near the top on Conference USA. But they still draw under 30k in the cavernous Alamodome, a stadium built to court the NFL but rejected like an early-round contestant on The Bachelor

20 worst stadiums in college football

Why yes. There's nothing at all to do in the state's largest city (BR) and second largest metro area. Nothing at all.
Um, BR and Montgomery are both equal in my 'cities I will never vacation to' list.
He didn't say "vacation" , he said "nothing to do," which is monumentally preposterous.

Yeah if you like urban sprawl and shopping centers.

I've been to two on the list...Duke and MTSU.
Duke is so bad that the visiting team has to dress in a building away from the stadium and walk across a practice field to get into the stadium.

Not a dump. I wouldn't mind if they hosted the NC game every year.

Here's Wallace Wade at Duke. Visitors dress in that small building beyond the endzone of the practice field. It was one of the weirdest things I've ever seen at a football game...watching Alabama walk over 100 yards of open practice field before the opening kickoff.

Been to Davis Wade lately?

What idiots. So basically these stadiums are the worst because they are mid-major programs. Okay..

Davis-Wade is not a dump and is a middle tier stadium in this league.

Major improvements would be dead on. Other schools are looking at our new north side expansion to get ideas for their upcoming projects. Ole Miss is one.

I was expecting to see War Memorial in Little Rock on the list.

Every single one? I'd personally disagree as would several Texas fans I know who've been there.
It's a pure college football stadium. A giant bowl without all the adzillatron, LED, flashing lights nonsense and people trying to sell you insurance or cars between plays. There aren't suites, lodge boxes, or club seats full of rich wankers sitting on their hands.
It does my heart good to see responses like this one. when I hear someone dismiss the Rose Bowl as a dump I can conclude nothing but that person just must not get what makes football great. I was in awe in '09, cry me a river if you couldn't think ahead and had to piss the whole game.
Another way to look at this: would you rather see a game in Lambeau or Jerry world? I hate the trend to the latter. I cannot stand all the ads and little gimmicks they play now to maintain fan interest. Jesus christ I am 32 and sound like I'm 65.

Agree 100%. Jerry world a bit too sterile. Never really liked that place. I would rather the Hogs vs Ags go toe to toe the old cotton bowl stadium. That place is pretty much a dump but it has history and a personality and a hell of a lot of memories for both schools.
Lambeau... absolutely.
