These are the same corners that everyone was singing their praise two weeks earlier.

Who the hell was singing Cyrus Jones's praise? Can you provide me a link? Most Bama fans that I know IRL referred to him as Cyrus Fricking Jones because of the way that he was constantly getting burned. Nobody was singing Deion Belue's praises other than him being servicable. He also had the injury bug on and off during the year. I didn't hear any reasonable Bama fan brag about our corners. I knew it was only a matter of time before they were exposed.
A lot of people liked the potential of Eddie Jackson, but for whatever reason we didn't see him in the Iron Bowl (probably due to off the field issues, not practicing hard enough, etc.) Once again, he isn't refined, but he will be a good one.

Landon Collins had a bad game. His athleticism is still better than Vinnie's. That being said, Vinnie is one of the best against the run and he was sorely missed in the game.

And you are wrong. Greg Robinson and Eric Mack saw limited time. The primary starters have already been listed.

Look who played the most in the CFB. Starters on that the OL was like a revolving door. His point is AU OL did not suck because of youth.

That was after most of your fans had crowned Jackson as the next Deon Sanders. Again the next guy is always the best for bama fans. McCarron is already being forgotten because of All-American Coker.

Was Eddie Jackson on the field during the IB? Did I miss where he got burned?

Eddie Jackson's biggest problem is Eddie Jackson. He will be a good one once he gets out of his own way.

It is fun listening to the talking head say or imply saban is scared.

I suggest listening to cowherds tomorrow. Appears he is gonna roast the lil feller on his show.

Cowherd? That doesn't exactly help your argument.

only one of the 9 loses Alabama has had since 2008 came from a team that finished outside of the top 10

but sure it's all about this mythical HUNH

So Jackson would have made a difference in bama winning that game? No but Mosely and Collins both looked foolish on Marshall long TD run, the DLs were on their heels the entire 2nd half and Jones was still your starter. But I guess Bama didn't play their best 11 players on Defense that game.

Oh good. The last time he got on his offense, offense, offense box it did not go well. Nor has it ever. Well BYU maybe.

Your coach wouldn't be crying to anyone that would listen, go to meeting about the HUNH rule, and make up lame excuses to get rid of it if he wasn't worried about it. His and Bret's names are the two used nationally every time the HUNH is brought up because how much they whine about it.

Curious, you like gimmick offenses no? Hard to tell with the balanced commenting.

2008 Florida 14-0 #1
2008 Utah 13-0 #2
2010: South Carolina 9-5 #22
2010: LSU 11-2 #8
2010: Auburn 14-0 #1
2011: LSU 13-1 #2
2012: Texas A&M 11-2 #5
2013: Auburn 12-2 #2
2013: Oklahoma 11-2 #6

I don't see Alabama losing to a HUNH offense here. I see Alabama losing to a lot of good teams. Sorry if I'm getting in the way of Auburn fans playing the victim card again.

edit left out Auburn wishful thinking

Nothing gimmick about running over Saban's defense. Or are yall wanting to count side stepping gimmicks now. Maybe Saban can get a rule passed against that too.

Gimmick is just another excuse Bama fans like to add to the reasons they didn't lose something or get out done by someone else.

My point is not this past year, but next year. The argument originated in what Saban is going to do to beat the HUNH besides campaigning. I argued that recruiting is one of those things that will help against the HUNH. Another thing that will help is better corners.
Eddie Jackson, assuming he will get out of his own way, will be solid by the time the IB comes around next year. He will have an entire spring and fall practice to help his technique. As you've seen, Saban corners seldom ever look good their first year.
I also think that one of Cyrus Jones, Anthony Averett, Mo Smith, Tony Brown, and Marlon Humphrey will be sufficient to man the other side. By 2015 I think we will have it on lockdown.

If we had better corner play, the two touchdown passes might have been prevented. Let me reiterate that the AU offense did well, and I am not arguing about us beating ourselves, but I am arguing what could be better for Bama next year. If we had better corners, we could have won the game.

We will chalk that up as #103 in the excuses why bama lost that game.
