Actually the shutouts started in 38 to be like 17 consecutive shutouts.

What sucks for the '39 team was they lost in the bowl game. Imagine traveling in 1939 from east tn to L.A. to play uscsr in the rose bowl. Some of the players couldnt make the trip to get to family duties, etc. Different times no doubt, and why I hate the whole "after integration" line for arguments.

Did anyone list three interceptions returned for TDs in a game?

Derrick Thomas record will never be broken. He remains the greatest player in SEC history.

Yep. He also kicked a 63 yarder.

Hell of a leg on that guy.

Walker's record will stand because everyone who comes close will leave after 3 years.

Tebow accounted for 145 TDs. It might be awhile before someone breaks it (Aaron Murray came close).

The career rushing record is amazing

Who knows, maybe one day Auburn will get a back that's almost that good - 1st time for everything....

I believe he still holds the single game sack record in the nfl with 7. Best player I have seen in my lifetime.

Re 748 rushing against VT. I was at that game. Wishbone, and about twelve different backs ran the ball. There were something like six -eight plays over 60 yards. In the end of game, they were figuratively letting students from the stands play running back and the VT players were worn completely out. A group of student-Vietnam vets, We stayed and drank whiskey to the last play

Didn't Dak throw 7 as well in the same game?

Lots of things mentioned seem potentially breakable on that list. So not sure about the whole never.

UTs attendance record from Bristol could be up there. Bristol is a small track and the sight lines were still horrible. Don't know any other tracks that it would be worth doing it at, so perhaps never broken as it really wasn't that great of an experience ha.

No, he threw six, but won.
That was a hell of a game.

as is the 748 rushing yards in a single game by Bama against VT.

That's crazy. Auburn ran at will against Mizzou in 13 and we only had 545.

I can't imagine adding on 200 to that...

Didn't Alabama have five 100 yard rushers in the game?
