As we all saw yesterday, playing a good schedule helps with the tournament. The committee even said that close losses can help a team. So who would you like for us to play out of conference?

I'm just gonna pick one from the other power 5 conferences and one wild card.

Big Ten: Michigan State
Big 12: I'd like Kansas, but they wouldn't play us. So I guess Texas or Okie State.

ACC: UNC or if they say no, Notre Dame.

Pac-12: UCLA

Wild Card: VCU or Wichita State.

Duke would be my #1. Michigan/Michigan State/Ohio State are 2a-c.

I want more teams like Memphis. Sort of a name based on somewhat recent history but down....and play in a decent RPI conference.

Memphis finished the year in the RPI 100.

UVA, Baylor, Illinois, Georgia Tech, North Carolina.

The only way we will grow our brand across the country is if we play teams outside of our Southeast footprint. For years we have not done that.

Our schedule this year was the reason we made the NCAA.

Exactly. It's why UCLA got in too. That's why Iike scheduling 4-5 good OOC games.

Let's pick one legit matchup, and then make a list of the teams from this year in the RPI 30-80 range, throw 5 darts and pick those 5 teams.

Seriously though I would like to see a home & home contract with Illinois for personal reasons.

I can't remember a time where we have played Duke or North Carolina. So one of them plus UVA

Play MSU a third time at a neutral site ... Maybe the coliseum in Jackson.

I'll go with Illinois and Indiana

NO!

our RPI already takes a big enough hit playing them twice, as it is.

It would be great if OM could schedule UNC, or another big name, to open the new arena.
