What's more annoying than this? It's such lame complaining for a couple reasons

1) To my knowledge, there have been 0 allegations or suspicious activities that have come to surface out of UK during his tenure.

2)It's college sports. Everyone fricking cheats. I guess it would be different if he was cheating on a whole other level than most, but refer to point 1.

3) He's an excellent coach. He got good players to come to Memphis and UMass. It's not all that shocking that he can now convince players to come play basketball at arguably the best program of all time. The final fours were taken away at previous schools, but not because of him.

Just seems like people will find any excuse for why their program can't do things of another. Sort of like fans who complain about Alabama/Saban and the refs. "Well yeah they're good because the refs always give them the calls". Can't possibly be that they have the best coach at the best program (sort of like Cal).

Everyone wants to act like they get shafted by calls and they don't cheat etc., and then tell themselves the only reason that program they hate so much is so successful is because of things like that.

I agree with this.

But Cal/UK do cheat.

Honestly, I would imagine they do. I also imagine that 99% of powerhouse basketball programs do also.

right he just happened to be at two schools that had final fours taken away and it has zero to do with him. I guess this could work if it happened once but really the same situation twice

Complaining about a basketball school cheating in basketball is just like complaining about teams cheating in football. Everyone does it. Don't act like your team is innocent.

We're innocent.

The NCAA had to apologize to us for being raging douchebags and actually gave Sunday Adebayo another year of eligibility.

It is a very simple formula:

A- mens basketball is the dirtiest sport right now

B- UK is good at men's basketball

A + B = C

Nah, I'm an LSU basketball fan.

Let me guess- you're one of the first people to bitch about the refs after an LSU loss (particularly to Bama).

Nowhere in my OP did I imply UK was innocent.

Here is why it is so luaghable to cry about.

UK cheats. Everyone cheats. Why cry because UK is cheating when your school is too (if they're good).

no they really don't. the vast majority of the sports not named football, basketball, or baseball are pretty clean. my former team did get probation in the book scandal a decade ago though.
