Don't mind at all. Aggieland '76, my freshman annual. Aggies won 39-8 at Baton Rouge in '75. Whoop!

This weekend's rotation

Fri - Long
Sat - Simonds
Sun - Kent

Hopefully Simonds is able to keep pitching like he has been as a starter

yeah I was a bit surprised but Kent really is a perfect Sunday starter and I think Mizzou's top 2 pitchers are pretty darn good.

This rotation allows us to play more of a hitting lineup with Gideon on 3rd with the Righties on the mound. I think we'll see a better fielder at 3rd on Sunday with Kent out there.

Official per 12thman.com

• FRIDAY: #38 Grayson Long (Jr., RHP, 5-0, 2.08 ERA) vs. #24 Reggie McClain (Jr., RHP, 4-1, 1.74 ERA)
• SATURDAY: #14 Kyle Simonds (Jr., RHP, 2-0, 0.00 ERA) vs. #11 Tanner Houck (Fr., RHP, 3-1, 3.02 ERA)
• SUNDAY: #31 Matt Kent (Jr., LHP, 5-, 3.20 ERA) vs. #37 Peter Fairbanks (Jr, RHP, 2-2, 1.82 ERA)

And no Ben McDonald on Saturday's SECN broadcast

SEC Network • Mike Morgan (play-by-play), Gabe Gross (color analyst)

THANK GOD.

Mizzou's pitchers are damn good.
This weekend's series will be a good barometer for us.

Any idea who gave McClain & Houck their losses?

Not really. Maybe one of the Mizzou posters can let us know.

Guessing, I'd say Milwaukee as they swept them. But they also lost the first game of the TAMU-CC tournament to the Islanders. It was a Thu for a 4-game set so not sure how they had their rotation. Some coaches are very rigid keeping guys on schedule and throw midweek starters first to keep the other 3 on normal days.

Ben Mcdonald: wish there was a way to follow up on that story he told about A&M fans throwing stuff at him...
Could certainly be wrong, but that story doesn't smell right right to me.

My guess is he's confusing Tech with A&M, which won't add to his popularity with A&M fans.

Very unlikely. I don't even think Tech played them but if they did, Tech gets like 15 people to games. His story was pretty specifically about that Regional. He's just a bitter old has-been that has exaggerated a story for years and years until it comes out like that. Next time he'll probably add that we dropped bottle rockets into their dugout.

I have to be honest, it didn't bother me at all. The crowds at Olsen back then were insane. It almost seemed as if it would have been best at times to have police in riot gear ready. I remember my fish year the crowd burst onto the field after game 3 of the Texas sweep. Seemed like half the crowd was swinging brooms with no regard for anyone else. It was like attending a South America soccer match

I don't think it carried over to even the late 90s though because the only time going back I remember it as crazy as that was the Clemson Super. But that was one of the most dramatic games ever.

Loved it. I remember back then when Daylon Holt used to come to the plate, the whole crowd would call his shot.

That was a thing for John Curl in the early 90s as well.
Good times.

I have a question, where is the best place to park for this Saturday's game against missouri and not pay? I'm heading to CS this weekend to catch a game, and can't remember where to park.

Thanks & gig 'em.
