Starting January 2015, part of your monthly payment to DIRECTV will be to cover the LHN

Please make sure your payments are on time. Steve Patterson thanks you for your contribution to athletics at the University of Texas.

You realize the LHN was a key factor in ruining the Big XII and basically screwing tu out of and conference realignment while propelling A&M to the SEC where we will make more off of the SECN?

From your own link the LHN only gets digital distribution via Directv. So unlike a REAL network, like say the SEC Network, I can only watch it through the internet.

What is super sad is that this deal was basically the LHN's last chance to get on the real DirecTV lineup. Here you are bragging, when the real story is that Directv will probably never have LHN where 99% look for it- in the channel lineup.

Pretty big fail LHN. Oh and thank you to all you Texas fans that pay extra to get a REAL network, the SEC Network.

You left out the part where you will still continue to be the doormat of the SEC and of the state of Texas in general.

At least your coaches will be paid well though

While not true, it is also not relevant.

Does this make it actually more valuable than their 1/30th share of the SECNetwork or nah?

This line of trolling would be far more effective if Texas had a relevant football program. Seems those days have passed.

Why did it take 3 years for network providers to pick this channel up? And why is it only raising my monthly bill .0107cents

Oh yeah, no one wanted it so you had to give it away

Congratulations on your conference realignment national championship! I'm sure the University of Texas will run out of money any day now.

And if Directv actually picked up the LHN as a CHANNEL and not some online novelty.

If only we considered you to be our rivals, this might have made a few people upset

LINK

You seem to have a problem with facts:

quote:

DirecTV announced Tuesday it will begin carrying Texas’ 24-hour cable channel as part of its new deal with The Walt Disney Company. LHN will be available to DirecTV’s estimated 20 million United States customers beginning in January.

With LHN already carried by DISH, Time Warner Cable, AT&T U–verse, Verizon FIOS, Charter Communications, Grande Communications and others, the largest cable provider without LHN remains Comcast.
