Meh. I'd prefer to have a network devoted entirely to my school than have to share airtime with several others.

If you have a network all to yourself -- and no one watches -- does it actually exist?

Moreover, Texas almost doubles A&M in football revenue, according to Forbes ($113 million vs. $58 million). $10 million is like a piss in the Pacific.

Seems like some professionally skewed numbers while their stadium is under the knife. We can revisit next year when revenue begins on the brand new alumni side of Kyle.

Sips gonna sip. It's always about themselves

I'm glad they're happy with the LHN. I'm happy it came around as well.

That's why y'all have horrid programming with paltry ratings.

Y'all are welcome to your folly

All the Texas fans I know say the same, shortsighted, self defeating things.

Its mind boggling they dont realize the damage they have done to their conference and by proxy, their program.

It is very entertaining however.

That revenue is likely going to be poured directly into debt service to pay off the stadium.

Are you another one of those idiots who think they paid cash for their stadium upgrade?

Revenue is revenue regardless of how it's spent.

I'm the idiot that knows the difference between revenue and profit. Something you clearly do not.

My name's on it, so it can't possibly be negative in any way!
The arrogance is comical

Over the next 5 years, A&M is going to skyrocket into the top 5 of all college athletic departments in terms of total revenue.

This line of trolling would be far more effective if Texas had a relevant football program. Seems those days have passed.

Yes, yes they have.

Btw you're welcome, Aggies.

I wasn't aware the Longhorn Network subscribed to the Nielsen ratings service.

Yup for a reason. The SEC Network will probably be first despite coming second. That is what actually success in starting a network can do.

Congrats on DirecTV though

As a Mizzou fan, threads like this make me say once again thank you for inviting us to the best conference......one that actually does a pretty damn good job of working to help all it's members not just one.

The LHN was forced on DirecTV. DirecTV wanted access to Watch ESPN and ESPN Goal Line and had to take it Al la Carte.

So you can enjoy quality programming like, a 5-hour Christmas special of Bevo roaming his ranch.

Wasn't there a show dedicated to one player who did a show & tell with his pets. Something Safari. I don't remember the name, but it was hella stupid, much like the concept of single-school networks.
