This line of trolling would be far more effective if Texas had a relevant football program. Seems those days have passed.

Hey! They could be above .500 this year if they can beta the last place west team!

DIRECTV customers will be able to access the live linear feeds and video-on-demand content from all ESPN and Disney cable networks and ABC owned and operated TV stations in and out of the home on the authenticated WATCH services – including WatchESPN, WATCH Disney Channel, WATCH Disney XD, WATCH Disney Junior, WATCH ABC Family and WATCH ABC – using Internet-enabled devices in early 2015 and soon via the DIRECTV Everywhere app on iOS and Android phones and tablets, and directv.com. Other new services to be introduced as part of the deal include Fusion, Longhorn Network, ESPN Goal Line and ESPN Buzzer Beater.

Says very clear right there that the LHN is getting lumped in with the services of the Watch platform.

Texas conference record since 2010

23-21

Baylor Conference record since 2010

30-14

I would quit worrying 'bout them Aggies and worry about being the 3rd best Texas Big 12 team right now. Better not add Houston in expansion cause that would just be embarrassing for you all.

No, I just went by the link you provided us.

If it turns out yall get full distribution I am happy for you. Hopefully it will be in full HD unlike what Dish offers for the LHN.

And we appreciate every Longhorn fan giving the SEC Network a dollar for every quarter we give the LHN. Great deal for us there.

Don't give up hope yet. If your program grows some balls and decides to play UT yearly, you may one day (unlikely) make the series respecatble enough to be classified as a rivalry.

LSU and Texas will wait, in the meantime you may talk to Arkansas.

We suck. We're going to get rolled by Arkie. We'll suck as long as we have Strong. I've come to terms with all of these things.

Still, it makes it easier to deal with this s**t sandwich, knowing that aggies will have to pay for the very thing that prompted them to leave the Big 12. And they'll be paying for decades.

LHN destroyed the Big 12, and the by proxy has really hurt the Longhorn brand.

Congrats, though.

Makes us happy too. The longer the LHN exists the longer both Texas and OU are in an irrelevant conference nationally.

Yeah because a 20 year deal that is like five years in equals decades.

Hell I hope it is decades, that means the Big 12 lasts that long. We will pick the OU program's bones clean in that amount of time.

Starting January 2015, part of your monthly payment to DIRECTV will be to cover the LHN

Please make sure your payments are on time. Steve Patterson thanks you for your contribution to athletics at the University of Texas.

Money well spent to keep you isolated as the shortest of short dicks in the worst P5 conference in the country.

I do think the LHN has caused more damage than good to Texas, not counting the money. It is great when things are going well, but when they are not it just puts a magnifying glass to a pitiful situation. Nothing worse than players and coaches constantly having to be making excuses and lamenting on why they suck. UT has sucked for a few seasons now.

A&M had a bit of a reality weekly show on ESPN on one of RC Slocum’s last seasons. It was considered a great exposure opportunity at them time before all these networks, but it backfired in their faces. It turned out to be a bad season and it was just made look even worse. When things aren’t going well sometimes is best to be out of the spotlight for a while.

Aggies wouldn't be mass upgrading facilities in the BIG 12 nor would they be out recruiting you in Texas. Your level of butt hurt is impressive. The SEC didn't want Texas....it hurts doesn't it to be on the outside looking in now...LOL

Longhorns are feisty after snabbing Malik Jefferson.

Tell ya what, if you don't mind contributing to the SEC network, which you do, I don't mind contributing to your shitty arse LHN. Have fun the the January re-runs of "deliverance at the cotton bowl"" which will surely be taped over by your 2010 win over A&M.

Yall suck and will be getting a new coach as early as next year, but you allready know that, so good for you.

I'm happy to pay a few pennies for the LHN, it's the gift that keeps on giving. Nothing better than the sips to keep playing 3 games a year on a network that gets 0.0 ratings and to make sure to lock up all of their coaches shows and other content on that network so no one sees it. Best of all, it keeps the entire Big 12 handicapped and unable to create their own network which would actually cost some real money (not SECN money or anything but it would be something) and keeps everyone in that league handicapped and unhappy. It costs money to keep folks in prison but it is well worth it.

Of course the best part is that idiot sips like you think somehow getting a few pennies is worth giving up massive amounts of exposure and the potential real money of a conference network. It's not like Texas is hurting for cash so I don't know what value that brings you. Still, keep on gloating as A&M has 3X the number of people watching us play as you do.

One favor though, could you talk with Patterson about stopping with the annoying attempts to give away your tickets to your increasingly barren stadium? I know you can't get anyone to go to your games anymore but I am half expecting my kids to get Longhorn tickets with their Happy Meal next.

I have Comcast. I don't pay your terrorist-coddling school one penny.

Also, good luck scheduling a home and home with any quality nonconference opponent as long as that network is in place.

Look for Notre Dame to opt out of your 2016 date if Comcast still doesn't carry it by 2016 to ensure they don't get stuck on it.
