I'm proud of the Dawg fans who went to the Auburn game.

I just read the thread on the Auburn site titled, Trip to UGA synopsis and I got a good laugh reading about how poorly the Auburn fans were treated by the UGA fans.

I still remember how the Auburn fans tried to beat me and my UGA friends up when we went to an Auburn game back in the mid 60s after they won the game. They literally chased us out of town.

frick AUBURN AND THEIR FANS!!!

Way to go Dawg fans!!!

We wanted to go, but one of daughter's had a dance recital. So we are going to this weekend instead. Not as good of a game, but tickets are cheaper.

I wish I could have met some of the ranters at the last game. I wonder if any will be at this one.

I was so loud, I'm still hoarse from Saturday night! Voice was gone by halftime, mainly from yelling "THEY CAN"T STOP NICK CHUBB! RUN IT DOWN THEIR THROATS!!!"

Richt asked Georgia fans to be loud and leave Sanford exhausted, that's exactly what I did.

My voice was almost gone before I even got into the stadium. Completely gone by the end of the first quarter. I was tailgating at Myers since 9, and I didn't see any mistreatment of AU fans, had good chats with a few.

I still don't know why I did it, but as soon as the clock hit 0:00 I began yelling at any Auburn fan nearby "Y'all have 20 minutes to get the frick up out my house"

I couldn't watch the game on TV or listen to it on radio or the internet.

I had to read the play by play of the game on my very slow old computer and it skipped the Auburn kick off after their TD on their first possession of the game.

I can't imagine how loud it must have been in Sanford Stadium when TG was running the kickoff back 104 yards for a TD.

Of course the TD run was called back for a penalty but while it was happening the Dawg fans must have gone nuts!

It would have been the greatest moment in UGA history since the "Run Lindsay Run" touchdown.

Does anyone have a link to TG's 104 yard run?

Man, I was there, and didnt see any mistreatment of any auburn fans. I invited a couple of buddys over that were auburn fans, and they didnt say anything of the sort. Heck, I even played the bean bag toss with a couple I didnt know. Dont know what everyone is bitching about. Proud of the dawgs!

No it would not, just how do you figure this?

After Auburn scored on their first possession everyone must have been feeling pretty low.

After TG being suspended for four games it must have been exciting just to see Todd on the field waiting for the kickoff.

Seeing him catch the football 4 yards deep into the end zone and deciding to run it back instead of taking a touchback must have thrilled everyone.

Then watching him run 104 yards the first time he touched the football since his 4 game suspension must have made the Dawg fans go wild.

You can argue that it wouldn't have been the greatest moment in UGA football history since the Run Lindsay Run moment but it must have been one of the most exciting moments in UGA football history while it was happening and if it hadn't been called back it certainly would have been one of the greatest moments in UGA football history.

You probably have a better memory than I have regarding UGA football history so I'd enjoy reading your opinion what other moments in UGA football history besides the Run Lindsay Run moment are greater than that 104 yard TD run would have been if it wasn't called back.

I'm a TG homer. I was at the game Saturday. His 104 yard kickoff return that was called back is probably not even in my top 10 moments in the last 5 years (even if it were upheld).

List a few of them and I might agree with you but seeing TG run a 104 yard kickoff return for a TD the first time he touched the football after his 4 game suspension would be one of greatest moments in UGA football history in my opinion..

Off the top of my head...

- UGA's final drive against Bama in the SECCG. I realize we lost the game, but that is one of the most exhilerating drives I've seen. Murray took us from our 15 to their 5 with 1 minute left.

- Goal line stand against 2009 USCe to win the game

- Gurley's TD in double overtime to beat GT last year

- LSU game last year - no single play sticks out...may not be a hallmark play in that game. The game itself resonates with me more than last week's vs Auburn. I was at both.

The TD kickoff return isn't as exciting for me primarily because it happened early in the game and also because I saw the flag while he was still at midfield. Killed it quick.

Note: I was at every game above except for GT.

Poor wittle Aubies, Dawg fans are so mean to them. What a bunch of absolute whiners. The stories keep getting bigger and bigger. It's like the Jon Lovitz character on SNL. Yea, that's it..........a UGA fan pissed on my infant daughter.........right through the sunroof...........yea, that's the ticket. Aubies, you got your asses handed to you, again. You're just going to have to deal with that fact for another year.
