Quoted from Stingtalk.

quote:

I was preaching to the dwags that Tud would be stoopid if he ever played another down for UGAg. Turns out I was right.

Seems Mr. Rules thinks it would be wise if UGA's star players call it quits before we play Tech. that's a pretty self-serving piece of advice, sort of like them jumping on the "Mark Richt sucks" bandwagon every time Georgia loses a game.

Gurley stood about the same chance of getting hurt in this game as every other game of his career. But Todd chose to finish it out and take the risk, same as pretty much every other fierce competitor chooses to play instead of quit. Hopefully Todd will be okay, but if not maybe Mr. Rules and his band of Stingtalk misfits can post some "Big Cry" farks on the internet. I'm sure Sony and Nick will be happy to remind them who runs this state.

Yep. A screwdriver.

You might also notice, since you're digging into Stingtalk, that I said nobody should cheer for kids getting hurt.

Well, judging from your posting history here, maybe you're his good buddy on Stingtalk. Either way, his advice on Gurley was purely self-serving, and his only purpose on this board is to take shots at Georgia. If in your judgement that makes Mr. Rules better than Georgia fans who stand up for Georgia on Georgia football boards, such that you feel compelled to respond with insults suitable for the playground in 5th grade, I can live with that indictment.

See, I thought Tech fans were the analytical ones who could respond with dispassionate logic. Is this your normal conversational tone with your peers, or some repressed anger and aggression that you save for the anonymity of the internet?

He takes one post out of context and uses it as a tool to bash me over the head with. What he doesn't understand is that I'm pretty resilient.

I wasn't aware that trolls accrued credit according to their duration on an opponent's message board. If it's okay with you, I'll file your advice with that of everyone else who can't figure out how to make their point without using non sequiturs and vulgarisms

When do you think we'll find out the extent of Gurley's injuries?

Whats the time table on this type of thing usually?

I would think somebody knows now. Surely they did an MRI last night.

I always enjoy Tech week, because it gets really easy to draw out the numerous Tech trolls on the UGA boards. I may read the Tech boards, just like I read other opponent boards before we play those teams, but I don't post on them and I don't pretend to be one of their fans.

This board, like all UGA boards, has its fair share of the Tech trolls, some anonymous, some not. I suppose that sense of inferiority they feel has to have a vent.

Per Seth Emerson the MRI on Gurley was done this morning. We should probably hear on Monday.

They could announce very quickly, if that's what they wanted to do. Whether that will happen, I have no idea.
