Supposedly this Roadrunner guy is just bashing Jay Jacobs and people over there keep going nuts and are divided.

I knew Gogue was asleep at the wheel when it came to the AD, but when he took over we were a top 40 school in the U.S. News & World Report rankings, IIRC. Now we are #103? That's unacceptable.

Glad to know we beat out the other schools whose graduates have to wear helmets for their own protection.
Auburn has potential to be a lot better as a school but we dont capitalize on it

We have a small endowment which hurts us. Auburn is doing better with scholarships.
We accept a high rate, but our class has higher ACT scores. You get points for the number of applicants denied. Some schools make it easy to apply and encourage folks that will never get in to apply.

Road Runner is an insider on Rivals and is known as such by Mods over there like JGT. Remember the thread on here last week about stadium expansion and my post was specific on the needs being new facilities and a stadium face lift instead of stadium expansion per insiders? Road Runner along with Phillip Marshall are pushing that view. Basically what Road Runner is saying is because the AD was in the red financially the last 2 years and will be again this year, Jay is doing pointless drop in the bucket things like removing the rented plants, removing free sodas from the coaching staff, and making the coaches bring their own water bottles to work to fill instead of free water being at work for them. Also Jay has apparently promised Gus all the upgrades needed but will not do anything about it until and unless Gus pushes him to. There is an allocated operations funds that can go to a new facility that Jay is sitting on and doing nothing with til pushed.

Well that's just total BS, if true. He needs to be sucking Gus' toes, or whatever else Gus wants sucked. I have never been a big Jacobs fan. If he runs Gus off because of petty BS like that, I will castrate him, his pets, and his neighbor's pets.
