This game blew. I like Miles, but worst coaching job ever in this game.
Bama learned they couldn't run on LSU in the first game, so they came out with the short controlled passing game. Knew that was coming.
LSU caught Bama off guard with the outside run. Had to know Bama would prepare for it the second time, yet LSU tried it over and over and over.

Since 2011 LSU was the GOAT and clearly unstoppable, I predict they win by at least three touchdowns.

All of this. The coaching was atrocious by LSU's staff for that game. Saban came out with a fresh new gameplan and to Alabama's players' credit, they executed very well. McCarron was sharp that game.
On the flip side, LSU's defense played extremely well and I think that typically gets lost on people as the LSU shitshow on offense is the story of the game.
Alabama fans can say whatever they want because I know they love to say LSU was going to get stomped regardless of quarterbacks, but Lee should have been in that game. Miles hitched his wagon 100% to Jordan Jefferson and that shitty gameplan and it was embarrassingly and glaringly predictable and ineffective.

Solid decision by Les Miles to play Jefferson. He clearly gives LSU the best chance to win the game. Tigers by 2 touchdowns. Jefferson is MVP

Yep, other than the TRich TD, They were holding Bama to FGs most of that game. 15-0 going into the 4th.

Outside of the 2006 national championship game (Texas-USC in the Rose Bowl) I think this is the "prettiest" national championship as far as scenery and color clashes go. The Super Dome shining down on both of those uniforms looks amazing
