I can see the ArDemGaz guys rolling up in a panel van after a 3 hour party drive to The Hill. Davenport opening the slide door and a massive cloud of smoke rolling out.

I like Robbie Neiswanger, Danny West and Josh Goforth (although I don't know if he has press credentials). After those three, I think we can definitely upgrade everyone else around the program.

You'll see it in a day or two once its posted but BallHawg10 has put together a nice little season preview for the Hogs.

I've been pretty calm this offseason. I haven't tortured myself by looking at the calendar every day wondering why it's not Sept 30th already. With that being said all of the effort to remain calm has been a waste cause I've been bonering all day because it's the start of fall camp. I don't have the willpower to fight off the excitement and that, sometimes unjustified, optimism that this year things are going to be different.

i'm getting that way a little but i'm still a little shell shocked from the last couple of years. it had been awhile since we were horrid or so it seemed so i feel slightly like an abused person or animal very cautious and almost jumpy. i realized that's how i felt when we played lsu and i never once thought we'd win that game, i had zero hope. i am ready to have hope again.

If we can play competent football like we did most of that game we will be competetive in almost every single game this coming year. I still think this team is a year away from bringing the discipline and focus needed to play mistake free football game in and game out.

The new jerseys retail for $90 on the u of A bookstore website.

Maybe the guys that wear the jerseys are the real Ballers in the stands?

Twitter updates on practice:

@NWARobbie: Bret Bielema said LB Josh Williams and OL Cameron Jefferson are newcomers who could help immediately.

@NWARobbie: Sebastian Tretola is a "bit heavy," according to Bielema. But he said Tretola and Jefferson will be great additions. Jefferson is at LG

@NWARobbie: Bielema on Auburn suspensions: "It is what it is and move forward." He said however long Marshall stays on sideline is in Auburn's hands.

@NWARobbie: Bielema answering question about running backs on Collins: "He's still going to have his Alex days," but said Collins is maturing.

@NWARobbie: Bielema answering question about running backs on Collins: "He's still going to have his Alex days," but said Collins is maturing.

@NWARobbie: Bret Bielema on his offensive line: "It's just fun to look at them." More depth, size, length. Bielema said there's confidence in the group.

@TomMurphyADG: Bielema: Said OL is beginning to look like an O-line that can play the way he wants. Said frosh OL Ragnow and Wallace have a chance

@TomMurphyADG: Bielema's first camp presser: LB Josh Williams and OL Cameron Jefferson are two guys who could come in and help us in a major way.

@HImagazine: Coach B also noted that LB Josh Williams looked good and will be playing big role

@HImagazine: Coach B: Keon Hatcher caught every ball thrown at him and that's good to see. TE A.J. Derby had a couple of circus catches

@HImagazine: Coach B: We are going to see what Josh Williams can do at MLB and Brooks Ellis can play several spots

@HImagazine: Coach B: Smothers and Charp had good days at center and are not going to roll over for the young one.

@TomMurphyADG: Bret: If there's one man who has embodied everything we want it's Brey Cook. That group don't move unless Brey Cook says it's OK.

@Dedsports: Coach B: The three freshmen linebackers and their speed really stood out.

From 247:

I want to find out who can play. Frank Ragnow looked great at center today. Worked at 2nd and third team. Tretola worked at guard too

Two WRs who stood out to me today were Keon Hatcher and Demetrius Wilson

AJ Derby had some good catches
Kody Walker and Tyler Colquitt looked good at FB today
Hunter had a good day. We have big expectations. Hunter dropped one and Coach Lunney let him have it.

Hunter is up to 255 pounds now and looks good. Dan Skipper has put on 25 pounds

Grady Ollison is going to rep at RT
We feel Brooks can play all 3 LB positions
Today we lined up with Tevin and Jared Collins, DJ Dean, and Carroll Washington at CB all ran with No. 1 unit.

I think the freshmen numbers this year will be similar to last year if not more. Tyler Colquitt will play. Jack Kraus is big kid who could play. Frank Ragnow and Brian Wallace will play
Bijhon will play, We will give Armon a shot. All three linebackers will have chance to help. Juan Day looked good.

JWill looked good. Alex will still have Alex days but starting to make strides maturity wise.
he is a very gifted player. Korliss acceleratd thru a hole and may be one of most explosive players I have ever been around.

Josh Liddell and Santos Ramirez looked good at safety

Hodge, Bijhon and Charpentier and Kirkland all looks very good physically

Backup QB Austin has really taken a step this summer. He has better idea of what is expected of him. Rafe threw the ball well today. He looked good today. He is so wired. He has got a live arm and is very smart and could have a really big month for us.

247 continued:

My goal on Saturday is Austin and Rafe get as many plays combined as BA. Rafe had a great throw there at end. Having a backup QB is essential. We will figure out some times to work there AJ there.

We have an offer sheet GPA, SAT or ACT, Social Media. Before we offer a kid he has to be checked out in all three categories. I remember a big time kid who had a twitter handle I can't repeat. We backed off of him last year. How a kid handles a woman, I have been in two homes where a kid told his mom to shut up I have pulled out of two of them.

I have started a freshman center. Travis Frederick started the first game as a true freshman.

I am not afraid to start Frank Ragnow he is very mature.

We have some good looking guys on the offensive line. There is some confidence in that group. I give a lot of respect to Sam Pittman

We don't have hazing, I had a heart attack. But Cole told me no coach I wanted to do it. That haircut doesn't do him any good. Bielema said laughing.

I am excited for this senior class as a whole but really Demetrius in particular.

Jeremy Sprinkle weighs 243 now . AJ has really made Hunter better. He pushes him.

Those 3 linebackers are very fast. Martrell is real fast and all three are as fast as him. We added speed.

Joshua Liddell and Santos Ramirez can really run. So can Cornelius Floyd.
