Supposed SEC Favorite - Bert's Revenge

2011 brought on a new era of Auburn football as they were left by the Heisman trophy winner and attempted to rebound from the high of playing in the national championship game the previous year. That year, the first SEC loss of the season was to the hands of the Arkansas Razorbacks.
As the 2014 season approaches, many things are similar to 2011. Auburn is coming off of a national championship game appearance and the team graduated a Heisman finalist.
Come the end of week 1, I see this eerily similar trend continuing, and Arkansas handing Auburn their first SEC loss of the season. Auburn has proven over the years that they can't string together championship-type season, and 2014 will be the biggest letdown yet to the supposed SEC favorites.

Hey, they also some how won the big12 2 more times than they actually did, its almost like any school can put up the signage and claim anything they want.

You should look up the record of Arkansas vs Auburn and vs Gus since Gus was brought up from the High School ranks by Nutt in 2006 and post it up.

I love all this Arkansas false hope, it's going to make the beat-down even better. Beating a team/fan base that knows it's going to lose is no fun.

Unless you count three in a row under Dye in 87,88,89 Also has Arkie won an SEC championship? I know they won the west in the one year Gus was there.
Last team to win back to back? 97 and 98. The answer may surprise, they have had 4 losing seasons in a row..

Arkansas may not win another game in 2014, so SEC Championship don't matter. All that matters is that Auburn will be 0-1 after week 1.
