Its because the 5 plays in Gus's playbook were less effective against Arkansas than anyone else.

Were they?

And that was with Tre Mason.

Auburn could have easily gone 8-4 last year, and that's what I see them doing in 2014. You can only get lucky so many times.

You're wise beyond your years. All that wisdom probably tells you aTm's record will be slightly worse than 8-4 huh?

As westcoast says, 11 0-77s.

6.65 yards a play seem pretty effective. Much more so against Arkansas than Ole Miss, Wash St, FSU, Bama, MSU, and LSU.

Face it, Auburn got very lucky last year to squeak out a win against an obviously superior Razorback team.

Brandon Allen going down leading to AJ Derpy turning the ball over on 2 straight possessions let Auburn's gassed Defense rest.

Tre Mason had 32 carries for 168 yards.

Collins/Williams had 33 carries for 196 yards.

I'm calling it. All 3 running backs for Arkansas (Williams, Collins and Marshall) will go over 100 all-purpose yards against Auburn.

Running the same play every time and letting up in the second half will do that to you.

Because Auburn spent and a lot of it's time playing on your side of the field.

Derby will have 10 carries for 77 yards in the 4th quarter as Bert tries to not run up the score on Auburn.

We start taking knees with 5:00 to go in the game.

Until Nick Marshall is arrested and the team quits on Gus like they did with Chizik.

Its nice to see TexasAg gave you hope but we heard this all last offseason by Arky fans and we saw how that turned out. Gus's HS offense rolled and won the SEC while Bert ended up with a worse SEC record than JLS.

The key in this quote is HS offense. Give all these coaches another shot at a mediocre Auburn team that runs 8 plays and Auburn may not score.

I was figuring in an offseason full of drawing up new plays.

We "saw". Pointing out grammar is lower than name calling.

Gus hasn't drawn up a new play since he tried to steal credit for Danny Nutt's Wildcat offense.

Yeah because there wasn't game film on Gus before last year. Ever since Gus came to Auburn the first year this same thing has been claimed and yet 2 of the top defenses in the country still didn't come close to stopping it at the end of the year. Arky has nowhere near the talent level of those 2 and lost their DC.
