Bruh, AU graduated like 30 players after the Championship in 2010 23 Seniors if I recall correctly. What did you expect us to do after that kind of attrition?

That isn't attrition.

A good coach, OC, and DC would know that Tubberville's players wouldn't be there forever and plan accordingly...

A Malzahn coached offense has scored more than 23 points against Arkansas twice in 5 tries.

Well the only one that matters is the one where Arky had Bert and Auburn had Gus. It scored 35 in just over 3 quarters.

Given the amount of luck required for that to happen last season it's unlikely they crack 20 this year.

Given that its at home, we should be even better in the passing game (Arky's biggest weakness), and can use the 4th quarter this year if needed, we will still score about the same before letting up again.

You mean where JLS Smiled all over the field and beat down Auburn?

That is your advantage?

Delusion.

Your coach was so panicked at the possibility of our comeback that he called this play...

How many Tigers are gonna be injured this year on our way to scoring 6 rushing TD's.

All of them?

Serious Question though, do you think there's one position that is responsible for faking injuries? I mean it would make sense that the linebacker is supposed to call the faked injury since they're the captains of the defense and making sure that everyone is set.

What happens if they screw up their signals for that in game one?

Gus is a gimmick high school coach that will be figured out after all the teams review the 2013 tape.
Why did the SEC teams not review tape from 2009, 2010, and 2011 while Gus Malzahn was at Auburn? What about tape from 2007 and 2008 while Gus Malzahn was at Tulsa? What about tape from 2006 while Gus Malzahn was at Arkansas?

Why was this overlooked?

You need to review the tape if you think that was Gus' offense and if he was calling anything in the offense outside of trick plays...

The real question for Auburn is how quickly in the 2014 season will they quit on Malzahn.

That was a joke back at your coach for calling a play, trying to be whiny, because his team could stay in the game. Panicking is opening your entire trick playbook up in one game like Bert.

It will take alot of ifs and screw ups by Auburn for Arky to get 6 TDs in Bert's Offense and win. I am not worried about our team screwing up signals in year 2 of the same system.

If you're not worried about our game then why do you keep posting about it?

perhaps it's the absurdity of your statements.

I think it's the insecurity and fear of the Auburn fanbase.

They know they're frauds and they're terrified of resuming their natural place in the West. 4th or lower.

People make fun of Arky on here all the time. Its doesn't mean they're worried about them, no matter what some arky fans tell each other to feel relevant. Its usually because Arky fans said something stupid and they made fun of it. Besides this is a thread about the Auburn/Arky game.

That's awesome!

If I find myself experiencing such emotions I will check back with you.

Come the end of week 1, I see this eerily similar trend continuing, and Arkansas handing Auburn their first SEC loss of the season.

It has to happen more than once to be a trend

2009, 2011, 2014..

Auburn is 2-4 against Arkansas in the last 6 years. Arkansas played Auburn no earlier than the 3rd game in any season during that span. The two seasons that Auburn managed to eek out a win against Arkansas they appeared in the national title game.

While I worry about every game, Auburn ' s history of starting slow has me more concerned. The only thing worse than an early season game is an 11:00 am game. Those should be illegal.

I'm not trying to be a smartass, just expressing an opinion.
I think Auburn's past has little bearing on the program we have now.

I completely agree that past history does not create a guide to future college football games. This does not make me worry less than usual.

I understand. Old habits are hard to break and sometimes the past can be hard to forget.

Linking this program to previous disasters is very similar to linking Saban to the disasters that preceded him.
