why does this board hate Paul Finebaum?

He's a well articulated man. Great public speaker! He never has notes. He stares straight into the camera. Has a huge vocabulary and asks tough questions in interviews. Very intelligent and has a great sense of humor too. I think he represents the SEC well. He runs one of the most popular radio shows of all time. You have to give him some credit.

Never have listened to him, never will listen to him. Can't stand him on tv but have to watch if watching any of those pregame type shows. Will probably avoid him on SEC network if at all possible. Don't really watch that much pregame coverage anymore, just the live game. Getting to the point where I can't enjoy the game with announcers either. Still rather be there live in person.

Either Auburn fans didn't listen 10 years ago when PF went after Bama at every turn, or they have a short memory. Paul loved Tuberville and was part of the reason Petrino wasn't the coach there when Housel boarded that plane for Louisville. He also did Chizik no favors in 2012, which I've never heard any Auburn fan give him credit for that.
Yes, PF loves Saban and has propped him ever since he came to the Capstone, though he's not as soft on him lately. He plays favorites, but is very critical even of his favorites when it is warranted (see Tuberville 2008).

He knows nothing about the game of football other than a little drama that goes on off the field. Its crazy that people think he's a voice of the SEC when he couldn't name a single starter on a team's defense defense besides AU or UA.

I don't hate him. I just think he knows very little about sports. He is more of a pop culture / political commentator in the context of sports. That is fine I guess, it just doesn't appeal to me that much most of the time.
Also his radio show is virtually impossible for me to listen to. Way too much time given to Jerry Springer type shite for me.
