Candidates:

2007 - Winner: Tennessee. 6-2 tie with UGA, Fl 5-3.

2010 - Winner: SCAR. 5-3, FL 4-4, UGA 3-5, Tenn 3-5.

2011 - Winner: UGA. 7-1, FL 3-5, Tenn 1-7.

2013 - Winner: Mizzou. 7-1, UGA 5-3, FL 3-5, Tenn 2-6.

All down years for the division, but the question is if the division has hit rock bottom or will 2014 be more down than 2013?

2010 for sure.

UGA, UF, and UT were all down. UT lost what, like 5 or 6 games? UGA went 6-7 (worst year since 1996) and UF had their worst year since the 80s I believe.

2013, easily.

UGA, UF, and UT should all be improved in '14, so I doubt it will be worse than '13.

2010 South Carolina. Florida, Georgia, Tennesssee were all down simultaneously posting around .500 record.

5-3 SEC, 9-5 overall, 56-17 arse whopping at the SECCG.

2010 by far. USC and Florida were the only teams with winning records. Nobody got to double digit wins. The division was 18-30 in conference play.

Compare that to last season. Mizzou and USC both finished in the top five in the country and both had double digit wins. Four teams had winning records. The division was 27-29 in conference play.

So wait, you're telling me the mighty SEC West came in 2 whole games ahead of the pathetic East in conference play?

So how long has the West been down like this?

No wonder the West blew the SEC NC streak.

How long will the West stay down?

Not a down year when you have two teams from the division finish in the Top 5...the west did not have that.

Just bec it was not UT, UF, or UGA does not make it a down year. Just shows parity.

The OP is an Arky fan. Arky is NOT in the East. So who exactly is the moron?

A fan of an East team did NOT start this thread just to be clear in case it's a bit challenging for you.

Calling folk morons is rude BTW. Why so upset?

It's better for the league overall when UF, UG and UT are at their best. That's why the East was down IMO. It's not really about any stats that get thrown around.

If MSU, OM and Arky were the top three teams in the West this year, we'd all say the West was down and everyone would understand what that meant.

Well, everyone but the Mizzous.
