I can understand your desire to look into the past for some reason to believe your time is not done, but it is.

It's time to confront that fact with a brave face, not continue living in the past and talking about a made up "Big 6."

traditions are made up but only the good ones last... check any program stats you want... you find the big 6... but if you want to make up some year to year power house group go ahead... but hurry up because mizzou wont be there long...

I'm sure you remember how highly thought of they were. Plenty of analysts thought they'd beat us.

2010 without a doubt. The only time ever in the SEC E that a 3 loss team has made it to the SECCG, add to that the only time USC has ever played for it.

We had 3 losses in 92.

This was only to maintain interest in an otherwise known slaughter of a game. Ratings ploy.

Oh. I see why you are confused.

THREE SEC LOSSES. Not losses overall.

Just looking at the records it has to be 2010.

2001 LSU won the West at 5-3 (tied with Auburn 5-3 but had tiebreaker)

2002 Alabama had the best record at 6-2 but ineligible and there were 3 teams with 5-3 records tied behind them, Arkansas went.

2010 SCar was 5-3 and won the East outright.

So winning a division at 5-3 is quite rare, it's only ever really happened twice. Amazing South Carolina won it outright at 5-3.

That was your mistake for not specifying.
