IDK, but we were supposed to suck a fat one this year on paper. This has been one of my all time favorite baseball teams to watch.

ETA: if he wins it, he's done enough to deserve it

Let's not count our chickens before they hatch. Similar to AK in 12/13 he has to at least make a super for him to have accomplished something. Obviously getting to Omaha probably gets him a lifetime extension.

people still hate AK even though he made the NCAAT and won a game. Some people just have their minds made up and refuse to change it regardless of what happens.

Godwin should be National Assistant Coach of the Year, if that's a thing.

Agreed. Like it or not, in the present day college basketball landscape, Ole Miss could do a lot worse than AK as head coach. With the resources he's been given to work with, the lowest budget and the worst facility in the SEC, it's really impressive we consistently stay at the top half of the conference. People refuse to like him because he wears velvet Jordan jumpsuits and gets #drunj in the Boom Boom Room.

If we take 2/3 in College Station I definitely think Bianco should win SEC COY... Florida has had an impressive bounce back year but they've also been a National Seed like 5 out of the last 6 years with multiple #1 signing classes during that stretch... 19 SEC wins by a team that was picked to finish next to last in its division is Coach of the Year worthy.

If he takes us to Omaha, I'd say yes. If not, no. Granted it would be impossible to say this before the award is given out.

Bianco or Florida's coach would be good bets. It also depends when they vote. If it's after the tournament, I could see CPM winning it if the Tigers win the tournament after going through that huge slump.

From ready to get fired to COTY. hmm

If y'all end up winning the Division then Yes, but it's a tight race these next two games.

Ok? He was predicted to finish 6th in the west. We've had a good year. I think he deserves a little credit, as do our assistants. Don't be a fricking idiot. Nobody is saying that he is definately the COTY, and it's not this board voting on it. He is in the discussion...
