Post what you do for a living and if and where you went to college to gain your respective career. We can leave the salary out of it unless you care to post it.

I'm a 15 year HVAC vet. I'm licensed and am quite good at it. I did not attend college to learn the trade, I started it at an early age and learned everything in the field. I can design, build and install metal duct work and am also a skilled service tech.

I am in Quality Control for a concrete pipe plant. I worked my into it without a college degree. I am currently attending college now and I am almost halfway to my BS in Business Admin. College full time, work full time, and a dad/husband with four kids means there is no free time.

I sell surgical instruments.

I suppose I could moonlight as a guy who could get people to talk, for a nominal fee.

Systems operator on P-8 Poseidon. Have worked in 6 continents including 17 countries in the past 6 years. Did not attend college but my first four years in can make up for that.

I was Supply for the US Air Force for a few years, but got out in 07. Now I'm a Logistics Analyst for a small company that picks up and cross docks General Motors material from their suppliers. I know it's so hard to believe, but it's even more boring than it sounds.

Thanks so much for your service!

I'm planning on getting out in 2017. Hopefully moving on to a job in SAtown but we'll see what God has planned.

Thank you for your service as well! I wanted to stay in longer, but I got so burned out.

At my last duty station (Little Rock AFB), I was working in MRSP, and the LRS CC decided that our section should be the building cleaners as well.

We would have to walk around the building every two weeks to pick up cigarette butts, break down the 400 pallets that TMO stacked up outside the building, and sweep the whole facilities floor. The crazy thing was that it was an E-6 and two E-5's having to do all of this. 30 troops E-4 and below in that building, but that work was above them apparently.

I should've stayed to pick up cigarette butts though. I made more then (7 years ago) than I do now.

Jack of all trades, master of none.

Now I mostly advocate for health care, sustainable housing, and work to keep elections clean.

Why break them down? Folks pay for those things. 400 x 1.00 = 400 bucks. If you can get 3.00, then 400 x 3.00 = 1,200 bucks. Not bad for a days work and you can get paid in cash.

Governmental waist my man. Were out there for a week with a sledgehammer pounding these things. There are some dumb arse people in the military. Especially the leaders.
