FYI, Article takes a HUGE leap, but here it is..

TUSCALOOSA — Nick Saban’s doghouse may be getting a little crowded this spring.
Without naming names, Saban opened Wednesday’s press conference talking about immaturity in relation to some of his players and people in general.
“Immature people and immature players sort of think that life is going to give in to their demands,” Saban said. “Mature people know I have to give in to life’s demands.”
In other words, do what Saban says. Proceed.
“If you really want to advance in this world, you’ve got to do what you need to do to be successful and most of the time, that gets defined by somebody else, like your boss,” Saban continued. “He defines the expectations for you so if you want to advance, you need to do a good job. Well, we need everybody to buy in and do a good job and do what we need them to do so we can be successful as a team.”
More words. Same Saban demands.
I truly believe the main reason Saban will hang up his whistle is because he’s coaching a generation of players that don’t fall in line easily and want to define their own destiny.
It’s a clash of egos, personalities and generations. If this keeps up, Alabama better build a bigger doghouse.

Well if anyone has the right to feel as though life will make way for them, it's Lane. Dude kept fricking up and getting better and better jobs. I mean, his big step down is OC of the most dominant program of our time. I fully expect him to be hired as Dallas' HC after Saban cans him and the NCAA imposes a lifetime ban on him.

Agree with what the lil feller is saying. Don't really gaf what Bamas players are doing or thinking, but the lil fellers comments are true.

No question you have a little feller complex. Are you a midget?

I think he usually says something pretty similar at some point in the beginning of spring. Probably just trying to get everyone to shake the rust off.
I found this quote from while searching,

quote:
Saban mentioned in his opening remarks that he was pleased with the team's attitude but went on to say a few "guys obviously have to mature a little more" but overall "the attitude has been very good."

Id imagine Saban hates players attitudes for spring practice. they dont want to be there in the same way he does

Actually Saban is referring to what happened last year with players like Kamara. Every report this spring is that Saban has been very happy with the direction the team is now going.
Now for all the ones hoping the opposite. Yes the sky is falling, the inmates have taken over, and Saban is leaving for the NFL right before the draft. There you go.

The obsession with all things Bama runs deep.

Shock that a barner would start ANOTHER thread on Bama.

I'm sure he does. He usually comes of as grumpy in his interviews to say the least. But he has learned that he can't be a dick 100% of the time. i would love to see what people would think if he came out and said what he really felt.

Are you as shocked when bama fans start threads on Auburn? or is it less of a surprise, since it happens so often?
