Let's wrap this up. Get him the playbook and get this competition underway.

He'll get the playbook down quicker than people think. Jimbo's offense has a lot of similar concepts. Different terminology maybe, but if he's willing to put in the type of work he is to graduate and get here for Summer, he'll put in a lot of work to learn the playbook. He won't master it, but I'm willing to bet either way we're gonna open up running a lot more than being balanced. He'll have to know his run checks.

I don't doubt that. Kiffin will add his wrinkles, but it has always been Saban's offense. That goes back to 1990 at Toledo.

Yeah. The main thing I see Kiffin adding is possibly more Fowler as a FB and better route patterns.

Should have been at Bama all along since there is a suburb of Tuscaloosa called Coker.

We wouldn't have been able to troll the SEC by thinking we have no QB next year.

I am excited but I can't help but think we sound like LSU as Molestenberger arrived.

Coker to my knowledge has not been kicked out of school after sexually assaulting a woman.

I guess we need to wait for Gary Danielson's analysis of Coker. He was high on Mettenberger the last two years.

Tough to put the blame for missing on Coker out of high school on the coaches, as I recall all the second guessers were screaming for Stephen Rivers, not Coker anyways.

Granted, I think we completely wiffed on Ely and have no idea what the coaches saw in him, but its not like we were passing on a bunch of future hall of famers. The only QB's worth a damn in that class were dual-threat types, not pro-style kids.

Top 5 Pro-Style QB's (247):
-Zach Mettenberger (JUCO)
-Jacoby Brissett
-Christian LeMay
-David Ash
-Max Wittek

I was underwhelmed with this highlights but bringing him in gives us another option and will make the QB battle more competitive.
