early in the season a few years back because his offensive scheme wasn't working. I remember the pictures of him carrying his boxes out of the office and loading his car. Everybody on this board was laughing about it.
Was this Malzahn?

Yes.

After Auburn fired him, they hired him to be head coach.

Tony Franklin.

Tubbs BBQ boys would not implement his system.

Tubbs was right about changing base offense, but he chose to keep his cronies in place and the staff was not in concert with Franklin's ideas.

He was working for Tubs and Tubs' offensive staff. He's proven it to work at other places.

Malzahn was forced out of Arkansas by HDN. You're mixing two different instances.

Air raid under Tubs wasn't going to happen ever and probably never at Auburn. He was a bad fit surrounded by coaches that hated him and has system from the start.

This is what was having me confused. I saw somewhere that he was successful somewhere else, and thats why I was thinking that it was Gus and his offense.

He loved 2 yard comebacks. Where the reciever caught the ball 2 yards deep and sprinting toward the quaterback.

Anyone remember hearing that Otis went nuts during his last practice running all over the field coaching every position personally?

RIP Otis
