Reminds me of last year when Otaro Alaka did the same thing (and Lampkin posted it on twitter) right after he visited A&M. Elliot is really good. I hope we flip him but class constraints may hold that back. Hope we can figure out the numbers because we really have 2 returning safeties next year and while both look exceptionally promising, that's scary.

ie, there are other guys listed as safeties but how the frick can you really count them? None have ever taken a snap in an actual game as a safety besides Moeller.

Based off the intel we’ve received from numerous high level sources regarding five-star linebacker Malik Jefferson we feel like Texas A&M is currently in the driver’s seat for the Under Armour All-American after his official visit to College Station.

We’re told A&M did everything they needed to in order to impress the entire Jefferson family. Everything from a personal birthday basket when he arrived to his hotel, personal tours, and even when the weather got bad and because of his mother’s back issues, they were able to watch the game from a suite in Kyle Field. Kevin Sumlin also invested a ton of personal attention to the Jeffersons from the moment they arrived until they left the Bright Complex.

Coming into this weekend, Jefferson and his family had a lot of questions ready for Sumlin and his staff. Mrs. Jefferson was and has been worried about housing and Mr. Jefferson wanted to hear about his son’s role in the defense. Those were all addressed before the family left Sunday afternoon and we’re hearing Malik is content about a future in Aggieland despite the uncertainty around defensive coordinator Mark Snyder. The staff really hammered home playing next to Myles Garrett andDaylon Mack and Malik knows those are key pieces that will allow A&M to be successful in the long term.

A lot of people are worried about the “now” and this year’s wins and losses but, if that were the case, Jefferson would be considering TCU or Baylor more. This is a long-term decision
