Just by the simple fact LSU has no other competition in in-state recruiting, they have the entire state to pick through the best players and still recruit top players from other states...alabama recruits against auburn, florida against fsu,um...tenn against vandy even Mississippi has to recruit against state etc...Louisiana produces some great talent every year if it wasn't for alabama, lsu would be keeping all their top talent in-state...just seems like they should have more National Championships then what they have.

LSU has one less crystal ball then Bama does.......
Besides, LA hasn't produced top-flight QB's and we haven't recruited that position well until now
But like an above LSU poster said, I ain't worried about the future, not one bit.

The answer is Les Miles, but Florida underachieve even more IMO.

Meh I'll answer honestly
Louisiana does produce some fantastic skill type position players
Offensive Lineman and QB's historically haven't been two of those, depth wise anyway. OL seems to have changed for the better in terms of HS talent though but still have to recruit other areas for that position most of the time, sheer numbers
But continue on with your troll post style
