Hell…if you go from 1971-1980 Alabama did it in 9 out of 10 years.

And except for vacated wins, Alabama has 2005, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012.

So long as Saban is at Alabama the only thing you will be winning is your annual game against Kentucky.

If I was a bama fan I would think the same, things will change so fast you will not know what hit you.

Auburn fans thought things were changing, too, when they were reeling in big fish back in 2009 and 2010. The trick isn't recruiting, the trick is player development.

Saban has been at alabma 6 years and he's won 3 National Championships...so in 8 year lsu has won 10 games in 6 years hmm, thats not bad, but you cant be that happy with that, that would be great numbers for a vandy or ole miss but your lsu with 5star players on the bench common.

What? LSU has won 10 games 6 out of 8 years. It's literally never happened in the SEC.

Alabama won 10+ in 2005, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012.

The trick is the health of your elderly coach, plus other factors that I won't get into.

The answer is Les Miles, but Florida underachieve even more IMO.

Another ignorant poster. In the SEC,Les Miles has the highest winning % in the entire history of the SEC( 100 games coached minimum). Higher than Bear, Saban , and Spurrier, but yeah he is a shitty coach.

Yea I don't get the hate for Leslie. Dude has proven himself an upper echelon coach. I hope he stays at LSU for many moons and we continue our bloodbaths yearly with them.

Like another poster said, LA hasn't produced wry many high level OL and QBs over the last 10 years. Also, linebacker crops haven't been very good until the last two years.

Look at LSUs biggest struggles it has been at QB. Ryan Perrilloux was the last great one and we know how that turned out.

So, Saban was at Miami in 2005. Hell if we gonna include random years we have more 10+ wins seasons since 2001

Championships!!! the only stat that matters at this moment!

Les is a good coach, but he is underachieving considering the circumstances.

That kinda my point LSU gets so much talent a blind mule could coach them to 10 wins...so if y'all have a decent coach he should be able to coach all that talent to at least 12-13 wins almost EVERY year and sprinkle in a few National Championships.

Bear Bryant: 232-46-9 at Alabama (.824 winning percentage)
Les Miles: 85-21 at LSU (.801 winning percentage)

Bear Bryant: 323-85-17 overall (.780 winning percentage)
Les Miles: 113-42 overall (.729 winning percentage)

I love how you just throw statistics out of your arse.

Well bammer, we agree, les should have at least one more national championship, but he does not, hence the underachieving label.

Eh, just give it a little more time. Bryant can't win anymore games.
