FWIW if you run the numbers LSU keeps more of their in state (top notch) recruits than any other school... or combination of schools when there are two top tier programs in a talent rich state

To be fair, Louisiana does not have the numbers to refill LSU needs, but it sure has the quality!

Now Florida, they have the numbers and the quality, they have no excuse to be out of the championship game every year!!!!

But florida is loosing a lot of talent to Miami, FSU, even schools like USF, UCF will grab a player here and there.

True, but there are some schools with build in advantages that would sugest a non-stop domination, (like florida or texas), but thank god they don't take advantage of it.

Just by the simple fact LSU has no other competition in in-state recruiting, they have the entire state to pick through the best players and still recruit top players from other states

i'm not sure if you noticed....but other big time schools try to steal our recruits every year

The Coaches Poll have been handing out the crystal football annually since 1986. Alabama has won 4 of them.
