Nah it's probably because y'all always thrived off tv exposure (which everyone gets now) and your school is in terrible recruiting territory. Also, the $200mil in the hole isn't helping things. As well as terrible coaching hires.

it's not as bad as some people make it out to be. sure it's not Georgia or Florida. Alabama isn't exactly gold mine either but they're winning even when they're sharing with other power house program in the state.

Makes Al Wilson seem like so long ago ... how old was I back then? Still in my 30s maybe? I dunno, it was a long time ago I know that.
Al Wilson goes down as one of my favorite SEC linebackers of all time, bar none.
