Let the "PROCESS" begin

Considering bama's small SR class and so few declaring early for the draft how many are to be processed? 10? 12? 15? That is if saban plans to get a full 25 to the capstone.
From what I read with all those LSU players opting out tigers will need to "process" three or four as of now.

I thought you meant Gus Malzahn's process to take back the state.

Players aren't processed at Alabama. They make it, or they quit. Sorry for the competitive environment

My bad that was a term I saw used many times in reference to players leaving early from bama.
Let me rephrase, how many players have to "QUIT" for lil nicky to get in a full class? 10? 12? 15? Is that better?

I'm sure some guys are gonna transfer like Ely, and some may quit playing.

Last year..
It's Natty or buh bye for LM in the next two years or LSU is about to become the UGA of the west. I can hear it now "Les Miles is a good man".

The medical dismissals. Seriously, look it up. A major loophole.

nick saban just lines up the under-performers and shoots them in the head, after making them dig their own graves. keeps everyone else in line. true story, i read it on the rant.

OK, never mind the stats on this. Maybe y'all just get way more career-endings than most...

Some thoughts on this...
1. SEC Football is business. BIG business. And it has to be run that way. How long would you continue to keep your job if you consistently performed below your supervisor's level of expectation? Or even if you consistently performed below the level of your competitors?
2. Let's flip this a bit and remain in the business context. Say you are an owner or company manager. You have several employees that simply. Don't. Get. The. Job. Done. They don't put in the effort on the plant floor, they don't prepare for sales meetings, and they neglect their customers. They are clearly hurting your bottom line. What would you do - assuming you have made an effort to already help them out? You would REPLACE THEM as employees. Period. And you know you would. Or your boss would replace YOU.
3. Signees are clearly told "the deal" when they join the team. SEC scholarships are renewable each year within the NCAA and SEC eligibility guidelines. Similarly, employees often work "under initial probation", and they have yearly performance reviews.
The bottom line is that churning employees (and players) is NORMAL. Show me a business who does not do this, and the odds are that they are stagnant or comfortable where they are at in the marketplace.
I don't want my business - or my SEC football team - to be satisfied with not getting better or putting the best on the field. Now don't get me wrong, I have had to fire people before and it's not pleasant. But I was paid to made tough decisions and be a leader. Sometimes, that's what it takes.

Agree with all of this. Still check on medical "outs" ALA has w/ doctors approving vs the rest of the SEC. These don't count against the 85. Alarming if you objectively review.

Fair enough. I understand, but again, flip the conventional thought process.
Say you're the coach and you have a player that has proven to you that despite your initial recruiting thoughts... he just can't cut it in your system. Maybe he works hard, has a great attitude, but the bottom line is that he just isn't good enough. So you know you have to clear out some deadwood, what do you do?
First, you encourage him to look at opportunities where he may well fit into another system better.
But if he really wants to finish up at your school, what next? You start looking at all other options in your arsenal of choices. A medical out is one of those choices.
Isn't this a win-win for the player and team both? He's still on scholarship and getting his education paid for. The team has a spot freed up. If you give the kid an opportunity first somewhere else, why wouldn't everybody be happy in this scenario?
I'm really just not seeing the problem here.

The problem is not players moving along or transferring. The problem is doctors falsifying records to record career-ending injuries to clear the 85 cap. It's apparent at the statistical level that it is happening at UA.
