I'll probably keep the sexual orientation of my character ambiguous. It's funnier that way.

So here's a question, if all the male yell leaders eventually went to females, would their nickname turn from the "Aggies" to the "Naggies"...

I believe that when A&M first allowed women to enroll in the 1960's, folks referred to them as "Maggies". I'm sure an Aggie will correct me if I'm wrong.

In the 105-year history of yell leaders, no yell leader has ever been female. The privilege is reserved for a five-man squad of yell leaders dressed in white who stand before A&M's student section at football games and make noises and gestures comprehensible only to other Aggies, as the students call themselves.

Only in College Station is it customary for a spirit squad at football games to make frequent reference to locomotives and farmers—and to make them at auditory pitches that evoke a barnyard.
Why? Why?

She probably won't win, the Corps block almost always wins, with a non-reg (non Corps student) winning rarely, and win they do they have the same cut in their hair (probably slightly longer) and don't have the upperclassman brass on their belt buckle.

For the record, she wouldn't be the first female to run, but like all non-regs, she will have a great deal of difficulty beating the Corps block.

What the frick are you talking about.

nonreg, the students I tailgated with when I was up there seemed to have a lot of disdain for the corps. Is that typical among the greeks etc..?
